This is a big bag of baking soda. Not sure what else to say about it except that it is a nice, durable, resealable bag. The baking soda worked well for my pool and I can store it, air tight for the next time. BTW, 12 lbs is a lot of baking soda but when you put it into the pool 4 lbs at a time, it is MUCH cheaper than trying to buy boxes at the grocery store. It's a natural alkaline substance with a pH of 8 (pretty much perfectly neutral) that can help balance pH and alkalinity. It can also help with improving clarity (which is why I bought it), and improve carbonate levels. I've been fighting green water since I opened the pool this year and this really helped get it back to being clear - and, I think - keeping it clear. From what I've read, it is recommended to use baking soda in your pool if the alkalinity of your water is too low. It should ideally be between 100 and 120 ppm. If it is less than that you can add one pound to every 10,000 gallons of water to increase it by 10 ppm. It can take up to six hours for the baking soda to fully dissolve, but you can speed up the process by turning on the pool's circulation system. Doing this should also help to stabilize the pH of the water so be sure to let the baking soda cycle through before trying to adjust the pH, then retest to see the new pH level. Keeping pH and alkalinity in balance helps chlorine do it's job and keeps your family safe. Using baking soda is a lot cheaper than using some of the alkalinity increasers on the market and is just as effective.

掃除、消臭、入浴剤など重曹を使う生活に目覚めてから、気兼ねなくたっぷり使いたい！ とおもいいろいろつかうためたっぷりサイズを購入しました。 この量なら家中たっぷり使えます。 おすすめは入浴の際、入浴剤がわりにバスタブに入れること。 沸かしたての熱いお湯がやわらかくなってぴりぴり痛く ありませんし、自分もそして使用後のお風呂もきれいになります。 掃除もこれとクエン酸を使ってからほかの市販のものはあまり必要なくなりました。 食べられるグレードですが、食用としてはまだ使っていません。
