after looking around at several different brush sets on here,and reading a million different reviews,I settled with these ones. they wernt as 'fun's looking as some of the other sets I was looking at, but that's okay because these ones deliver. I use them for my hard gel overlays,as well as my potted led soak off polishes. the tips are oval curved,so it fits your nail bed for a close finish. they're super sturdy,eco friendly wooden handles.these are quality guys.sometimes simple is best. oh yeah,they clean very well,even when you accidentally leave it too close to the led light &you cure the hard gel to your brush lollll.

I really like the wooden handle gentle on your hand and cleans up nicely. I am a novice, but I saw an immediate in my finished product. I loved all the choice in sizes I think they are a great product.

Decent quality

I bought these for use with Gelish soak-off builder gel (and Gelish Foundation, and Gelish Top It Off).They work fantastically.I (accidentally, ahem) bought a second set of brushes at the same time as these, so I compared them. The other set, with pink marbled handles, was just a few bucks cheaper. They seem nearly identical, but the Winstonia bristles are slightly softer (which isn't important with builder gel since it's self-levelling anyway) AND most importantly, more rounded. They have a nice rounded tapered shape, while the generic brand brushes were more square. I prefer the rounded.So I'm using these primarily, rather than the other brand. The rounded edges make this a better purchase for me, even if they were just slightly more expensive.They hold up very well to acetone, alcohol, etc and look brand new although I've used a few of them quite a bit.The sizes are also fantastic. The largest covers my whole fingernails and the smallest is great for details!

I used these brushes two or three times for building gel nails. Overall I'm happy with the assortment as well as the quality of the brushes. The only issue I've had is when cleaning the brushes with acetone, the acetone melts the lacquer on the wooden handle of the brush. It took me a while to realize that as I wasn't sure why they get all sticky. I ended up wiping the brushes with acetone in their entirety to get all of the shine off the wood. Don't know how long they will hold after that. Had I known in advance, I probably would have gone with another brand that has plastic brush handles.

The bristles are flat and firm! Just right for working with polygel especially when using glitter and/or nail charms. I'm purchasing several extra sets just in case they stop making/carrying these! I can't imagine working with polygel with them!

I Used these for gel polish and the bristles start to break off while using them.
