Every Bit as good as Golf Pride Grips
I replaced worn out Golf Pride grips with Champkey cord style grips and in my opinion they are every bit as good for a lot less money. I would say they are identical in quality. I was paying twice as much for the Golf Pride grips and then paying for installation at a big box golf store. By the time I was done, it was nearly $15. per grip. The kit that comes with these grips is everything you need to install your own grips. Not a difficult job at all, but a bench mounted vise makes the job MUCH easier and less messy. The hook blade that comes with the kit makes cutting off the old grips simple with a lot less chance of carving up a graphite shaft. The toughest part of the job is removing the old grip tape. Some clubs it came off easy, and others came off in little strips. Tip: DON'T wet the old grip tape with mineral spirits or it will be a gooey mess. A little heat from a heat gun helps a little. Once the tape is off, just wipe down the shaft with the mineral spirits that come with the kit to remove any residual glue, and you're ready to install the new grip. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. Be sure to make any final adjustments to the alignment of the grip to the club face before the grip tape sets up. Let them dry overnight before using. I'll be a repeat customer, for sure.

If your reading this your it’s a sign
If you’re even thinking about regripping your clubs yourself, this kit is a no-brainer. I honestly didn’t expect it to be this smooth from start to finish. Shipping & First Impressions It showed up in just one day, which was clutch. Everything was packaged well, nothing missing, and it came exactly as described. No cheap or thrown-together feel either, everything looked solid right out the box. What You Get This is what really stood out. It came with all the tools you actually need: * Grip tape * Solvent * Hook blade * Vice clamp No extra trips to the store, no guessing what you’re missing. That alone makes it worth it. Installation Experience Super easy. Even if it’s your first time doing grips, this makes it simple. The tape sticks well, the solvent gives you enough time to adjust, and the grips slide on clean without fighting you. Everything just… works. No mess, no frustration. Fit & Performance Once installed, the grips feel perfect. Tight, secure, and aligned easily. No slipping or twisting at all. Honestly feels like something you’d get done at a pro shop. Final Thoughts This kit takes all the stress out of regripping. Fast shipping, complete setup, easy install, and pro-level results. If you want to save money and still get that clean, professional feel, this is it. 100% worth it.

Excellent playability
Fast delivery of order. Grips feel and play as good as the Golfpride grips I normally play. Installation is easy, included instructions are clear and direct to the point, hard to not understand even for novice golfers. I will buy again to keep on-hand. Wear factor is unknown at this point in time, but considering price it's a "no brainer" for me.

Great price and comfortable grips.
The grips were competitively priced so I thought I would give them a try. The kit was great and they went on quite easily. Even though I’ve only had them for a few weeks, the grips are comfortable and so far I’m very happy with the product. I play twice a week all year long so if they last a year or so I might give them a five star rating and buy them again!

Nice grips - quality install kit - small learning curve
First time replacing grips on a 15 year old department store brand. They hit well for me so no need to replace clubs for a once a week golfer. My current grips were original and would experience intermittent issues and realized that my grips were causing slip and sporadic performance. I didn’t want to break the bank but do like to play well and prefer the performance issues to be no fault of the equipment so I know where to assign blame - me. I also bought a new putter grip which is in the photo which is really nice and I had extra grip tape and supplies from the kit to install. I watched a few videos and web sites to ensure I had a good method. A couple of things I learned from my research and can corroborate are: (1) start with your least used clubs as you will get better as you go. My first club install was fine but I stretched the grip about 1 CM which is no big deal but glad I did it on my 6 iron (2) Heat guns and acetone make removing the old grip tape easier. If you have old department store clubs, chances are the tape is super thin and can’t be pulled off. The grips come off easy with the supplied knife but most of my time was spent getting rid of the old tape. Next time it will be easier as the tape will come off like the videos (LOL). (3) Grip alignment is important, when you vice down (with included club clamp) make sure your club is facing straight up so you can place the grip alignment arrow in the correct location. (4) Don’t skimp on the included solvent; some people recommend catching the old solvent and reusing it in the bottle. I think that’s a suboptimal method. Mineral Spirits are cheap at your hardware store. Buy some extra just in case. I added a good amount to the inside of the grip first with my thumb under the small grip hole and anther thumb over the other hole and shook it throughout the grip and then I kept a finger over the large hole and used the suction by slowly releasing the solvent over the grip tape and take one hand (with a glove on) to ensure the entire grip tape is wet and slippery. Taking caution to not touch the grip with the wet hand I would align the grip and slide it on placing my hand about 3 1/2 inches from the leading end of the grip. I then would pull the club from the vice and gently push on the butt of the club to ensure it was seated. I haven’t played with them yet and will update after a round but they feel nice and like the midsize feel. 8/2023 range update: I took the clubs to the range and the grips felt great and to be honest, I didn’t slice any of my shots and hit my driver better than I have in the past and saw something interesting, I’m pulling or hooking my shots as my club face is more closed on my finishing swing. It might have been from compensation for my club face opening from the club slipping in my hands in the past so I have some work to do but glad the slice is gone. I’ll report back after a round of golf.

Best value in grips I have seen.
Let me start with I have been regripping golf clubs and rebuilding them since the early 90’s as a teenager in golf shops around Chicago Suburbs. I have recapped lambskin rewhipped persimmon woods you name it I have done it. Even managed a Golfsmith back in the day. I love the pricier Winn grips but they just don’t last especially now that I am in AZ heat. So I decided to try a cheap grip package in fact one of the cheapest I found. Fast forward after a quick 2 day delivery and upon opening I always inventory the supplies before I get started. 13 grips, 15 tape strips (which brilliantly have a split in the protective paper to make it easy to remove) extra is always nice, vice block, knife with hook blade, bottle of solvent (double sealed and in a plastic heat sealed bag nice packaging). Perfect and bonus tape, I was skeptical of the solvent but I am probably more liberal in my application having always used bulk gallons of spirits. But the quantity was good and a little extra, albeit I was a bit miserly worrying about the quantity. The tape was a breeze to put on, I still prefer to work with a roll of tape vs strips but that’s just me. The solvent wasn’t overly odorous in fact way more mild than straight mineral spirits, the grips slid right over the shafts carbon and steel. Alignment was quick and easy and the glue and solvent residue wiped right off when done. I have yet to take these out and hit, but bought a 3 pack last year for a set of woods (without the kit) and they are still coming strong. The grips themselves remind me of tour velvet 1/2 cord in feel and I went with midsize because I have arthritis and it really helps. I’m overall I would not hesitate to recommend these and will be on the lookout for them in a year or so when I need to do this again. 100 percent recommend this kit!

Nice grip - and very easy to install
These grips are very good. I've used Golf Pride, Winn and Saplize. While my preference has been for Golf Pride grips, these are WAY cheaper and feel almost as good. I decided to give these a try. I find the feel pretty good. The choice of grip is often personal preference, so what feels good to you might be different. We haven't had much rain since I put these grips on, so I can't comment on grip under adverse conditions. One thing I do commend is the kit that comes with the grips. I got these to grip some new clubs, so I didn't use the hook knife. However, having done this before with a straight bladed utility knife, having some curve to the blade definitely would have sped up the process of removing the old grip. What made this better this time I did this is the tape is very easy to work with. Having the side that faces the grip have a split cover sheet made putting the tape on the club very easy. The solvent for making the glue slippery isn't as noxious as other materials I've tried - and it works very well. I didn't have to work to hard too push the grip on to the club. But I did find being a bit liberal with the solvent made things easy - if the tape isn't truly slippery, the grip won't go on.

Great Grips!
Exactly as described, and they look exactly like golf pride grips. Quality seems good, haven’t played them yet on the course but they look amazing and really stand out. Installation was super easy as well. NOTE: the solution bottle leaks and the cap does not stay on at all. So I dumped the solution from the bottle into a spray bottle I had and it worked fantastic. I just did about 4 sprays into the grip and seemed to be the perfect amount. Looking forward to getting out on the course to play and show off these super sharp looking grips!
