Octeapus is Fabulous!!!!
Clever, clever!!! Genius who came up with these tea infusers (wish I had thought of it)! Seriously, it is great - dishwasher safe, easy to hang on your cup, and cute as a bug . . .errrrr octopus! I only wish they came in different colors.

Cute idea; doesn't work very efficiently.
One of those things that's cuter as an idea than it is as a working product - it's a /very/ cute thing, but quite impractical. The octopus head comes off, to be filled with tea - except that the opening of the head is too small even for a small tea scoop, so you sort of have to funnel the tea in, which means another item to be rinsed, plus it still doesn't all go in perfectly. Then, it's hard to get the head reattached without spilling a bit of the contents. Once that's done, though, the long arm hangs nicely from the edge of the cup. And it's microwaveable, if you're an occasional tea heathen who just nukes the whole cup. Relatively few holes in the head, so you have to steep it a bit longer, maybe swish the thing around a bit in the hot water, to get it thoroughly infused. And don't use whole leaf tea in it, such as the long green or white tea leaves, or you'll have quite a time getting them out once they've swollen up, to clean the thing. Works best with broken black tea or with rooibos herbal teas.

Cute but Hard to Fill
This is a really cute little tea infuser. It works great once you get it filled, and that is where the problem lies. It fills from the neck and the opening is not very large. Filling it can be a messy proposition. If you are using strictly loose leaf tea, you will have an easier time of it. Teas that have flowers, fruit pieces etc., can be really hard to get in that little opening. The head isn't overly large, but does hold a normal amount of tea and the head attaches firmly to the body. He is a little hard to clean for the same reason he is hard to fill, but once you get the old tea out the silicone will clean up like new. He hangs real well in my travel cup and despite his flaws I still use him regularly.

Fun in your cup!
Such a fun looking infuser! Purchased as gift and the user loves it; can't imagine any collecting tea enthusiast not loving it just for its look! Great quality and prompt delivery too!

It's very flimsy and it's a pain to load the tea and even worse to dump it out after use
The octeapus is very cute but not practical at all. It's very flimsy and it's a pain to load the tea and even worse to dump it out after use. It was a novelty item that was a waste of $4. I would not recommended this to anyone.

Cute but not practical
It does what it is supposed to do but it's only been used a handful of times (if that) because it's a pain in the butt to get the tea in there and close it up because the opening is way too small. You end up with more tea on the counter than inside.

The Octeapus: Four-and-a-Half Stars Out of Five; Rounding Up Rather Than Down
I adore this little guy! I've only had him for a few days, and thus far, I've used him dozens of times (I drink A LOT of tea every day -- at least eight 16 oz. cups, often more). He's very durable, and since it's food-grade silicone, there's no plastic-y aftertaste or any toxic chemicals getting leached into the tea. It's easy to drink one's tea while he's still sitting in the cup, too, provided that the cup or mug you're using holds 12 oz or greater and is at least 3.5" - 4" tall. My only gripe (hence my "4.5 stars out of 5, but rounding up" headline) is that the shape of his head (where the loose tea goes) is a little tedious to empty once you're ready to rinse and refill him with fresh tea. Fortunately, his head is soft and flexible, so one may "squish" it to help coax the used tea leaves out. But I imagine some of the other designs are much more straightforward and involve less hassle. A final comment: I've seen that some tea infusers marketed as "food-grade silicone" sometimes come with steel inserts, which aren't always clearly visible in pictures provided by the manufacturer. In my opinion, steel inserts entirely defeat the purpose of using food-grade silicone. Most of us who wanted to transition or already have transitioned to silicone tea infusers do/did so because steel rusts -- yes, even so-called "stainless" -- and rust is definitely not something anyone wants to ingest! The Octeapus doesn't come with any steel inserts or other bits. He's entirely metal-free!

Nice Addition to Kitchen Accessories
This is a very cute and long-lasting infuser. While I drink tea, sometimes it is just easier to use a traditional teabag. While this item is fun to look at, I had to give it a four because it has minimal functionality. It takes up space in my drawer and I hardly ever use it. I am avoiding such purchases in the future to reduce landfill and ocean pollution. Recyclable teabags work just as good for me.

ok

Cute but not all that practical
The colour and design are adorable. Unfortunately, the opening to put in the loose tea (by removing the head and filling it) is far too small to use without spilling tea all over -- and it's even more difficult to remove the tea afterward once it's wet and swollen. If you want a more practical oceanographically-themed tea infuser, I instead recommend this same company's Manatea which is also available here on Amazon.
