Review: Support - My kayak didn’t come with foot pegs since it’s a peddle. Unfortunately you don’t always use the pedals based on the depth of water you are in. These are perfect, work great and very sturdy.
Review: Perfect for Those Who Want More Leg Room - These were easy to install and a perfect fit for my Pelican Blitz 100X EXO. With these installed, I have so much more leg room and am able to sit with my feet more upright, making for a much more comfortable experience. Despite what the description says, these will work for certain models of Pelican set-on kayaks as well. Those models being the Castaway 100, the Sentinal 100X, and the Blitz 100X EXO. Drilling the rivets out of the factory foot rests was a bit of a pain, as they have a tendency to start spinning (because they are installed in plastic instead of metal), but installing the new rivets is simple and easy. While I can't speak for every kayak, my personal one was already pre-marked with little dimples that line up to with the holes on these foot rests. So not measuring was required. Just drilling out to the right size and riveting these into place.

**Q: Will these fit inside same wholes as my non adjustable footrests inside the pelican 100 mustang?**
A: Yes. This for sure fits the Pelican Mustang 100x. The holes line up with the non adustable foot pegs. I drilled for the 3rd but dont think it will ne necessary

**Q: Does the track utilize the same holes as the molded foot rests? Or do you need to drill new holes and patch the old ones? Thanks!**
A: Unfortunately not. The kayak my husband changed the track on was a sit on top. He used one hole and then drilled the other one.  He has not had a problem with leaking and he loves the adjustable tracks. My kayak is a sit in and I did not want the track on mine.

**Q: Will these fit on a pelican rise 100x sit on top model?**
A: I would say yes. I put them on a similar pelican model and they worked fine.

**Q: The pictures show this foot brace system on a Pelican sit on kayak, but the text says "For sit-in kayaks only".  Which is it?**

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fit for Pelican Sit-in and Sit-on Kayaks

I purchased and installed two sets of the adjustable foot braces, one on a sit-on kayak (Rally 100XP) and one in a sit-in kayak (Mustang 120X EXO). Each kit came with clear instructions and hardware for both types of kayak. The Mustang used the Phillips screws, while the Rally used the included pop rivets. The holes lined up exactly with those left from removing the fixed foot braces, but I added the additional center mount screw in the Mustang for some peace of mind. Total time to install both kayaks was about an hour, but I took it slowly and carefully. Tools needed were: Sit In: Phillips screwdriver, drill and 3/16" bit Sit On: drill and 3/16" bit, pop rivet gun I also used a light in the inside of the Mustang so I could see it coming through the mounting holes and line up the rails properly during install. Great product. Thanks, Pelican!
