I was dubious when I realized there weren't any assembly instructions and the 2 allen wrenches they sent didn't fit any of the hardware. This seemed like the perfect product for what I was looking for but turns out it's a piece of crap Review: Has all the bells and whistles but not well built/ dangerous motor - I purchased one of these hoping it was similar to some of the other oasis machinery stuff I have purchased. (inexpensive but mostly all there and functional) Unfortunately right out of the box I assembled (missing directions) and then proceeded to plug in. The motor began smoking like an Indian tee-pee. I was sending smoke signals in the living room. The motor gets terribly hot when run to the point that you cant touch it. I presume that there is some plastic coating on the windings etc. and that is what is burning off but I dont feel comfortable sending wood chips and dust through something that is a possible source of ignition. I mean this motor gets HOT. Sent it back and am looking for a good used delta or the like. Since there were no reviews and thats what led me to take a chance, Im saying save your money and spend a few more bucks and buy a reputable brand. Thumbs down. I gave two thumbs because all the parts were in the box and the flexible hose is quality. Elsewise its a one-thumber or even a thumb down. But if you are looking for a good flexible hose, you can buy one here and throw the rest of the kit away. Just beware of the Chinese-chemical fumes that come out of the box (seriously).
