Works great, love the case!
After about 8 years of saying "I would test compression, but I don't know where my gauge is" I finally broke down and just bought a new one. This caught my eye because of the included adapters, price, and most importantly that it came in a case. Loose tools bother me and I can lose them and have lost plenty, I shop for a case with most everything at this point. What's the sense in owning a tool if you can't find it or that one critical piece? As for the gauge itself it feels high quality, as do all the accessories, and it helped me confirm what I suspected on my newest buying mistake, a non-running Suzuki Carry, by showing me the head gasket is blown. Bummer, but I'm super thankful for this little gauge so I don't have to tear down half the motor blind to find that out!

Good value for small engine repair
For the price itโs very good quality.
User
Decent decent
Works good but one of the adapters had a bur on it so it wouldnโt thread in so I had to tap it to get it to work. No big deal for me but could be an issue for someone else.

M14 KDX200 Compression
Great tool for the price. I used it to check compression on 2-stroke dirt bikes, M14 fitting. Worked great!

Good
Really nice tool

Great kit for the price.
This is a good low budget kit. I really just needed the fittings to make my old gauge work for a project but it was cheaper and faster to just buy this kit. That being said the kit is nicely put together. The gauge seems a little cheap so I compared it to my other gauge and they were pretty much reading identical. Overall great kit for the price and seems pretty accurate for my needs.

Good fittings, but irrelevant with an inaccurate gauge
Gauge is very inaccurate. The fittings all seemed to be ok, but having an inaccurate gauge just makes the rest of the kit useless. While working on an engine, I thought I had found all 4 cylinders were extremely low on compression. So I tore the engine down, re- ringed the engine, Honed the cylinders, and had the head rebuilt with all new valves, and seats installed. After getting the engine back together I decided to check compression first, to make sure my rebuild was successful. This time I had a little less than 60psi registering on the gauge. Obviously after a rebuilt, even with a teaspoon of oil in the cylinders u will almost always have lower than spec compression. This Is 100% normal. But as low as 60 is bad. I asked a friend if I could borrow his snap on compression tester because that 60psi didn't sound right. Just incase It was I didn't wanna start the engine and turn a simple fix into a worse fix if something had gone wrong with the rebuild. I used the snap on tester and got between 120 and 130 for compression which again is low (spec is 180psi for this engine) but normal after a rebuild. Then I compared the results from the snap on to this product. This product only showed slightly below 60 psi... so It was off by around 50psi. Now I'm wondering if it even needed that rebuild in the first place, or if this piece of garbage made me think a simple issue, was actually a worn engine. The engine started and ran so obviously the snap on was right.
