The gears bound up and skipped. It was totally unusable. I immediately boxed it up and sent it back. But I still needed the tool. After reading similar reviews with the same results I ordered the expensive Motion Pro version. They may look the same but there is no comparison. Thank you **Q: will this work on a triumph bonneville (2008)?** A: A 2008 Bonneville should be fuel injected so this will not work. It has carburetor bodies but they aren't actually carbs. They're empty and are only have the throttle blades in them. Look close at the and you'll see wires coming from the carb...no real carb on a motorcycle has wires coming from them. If you're having to fatten up the mixture, you need to use an aftermarket programmer or call a Triumph dealer to see what tunes they may be able to put in it. **Q: will it work on 1982 Honda GL 1100I?** A: I believe it will. It is all a matter or reach, the bits that come with the tool are short and stubby so it depends on what is in the way on your ride. The one from Motion Pro is a quality piece made much better. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pit Posse 2821 carb adjustment tool *by J***S on January 1, 2016* My new 4 star review. I revised my original review (see below), after reading another purchaser's review of this product. It has a spring loaded ball detent in the handle that can be felt (its not the gearing in the head end). For this tool to really feel precise and provide proper feedback, the ball needs to be removed. I lubed it up a little and deburred a few areas, and it spins freely and easily, as I feel it should. If I had known this prior to purchasing, I would have been far more satisfied and been able to properly use it, for my purposes imediately (after the field fix). Had this tool came with some notation regarding this field fix, if the purchaser did not need the click/detent feature, It would have received a 5 star rating hands down. My previous 2 star review: I had assumed this was a sort of precision tool, even so much as the handle having index marks. The tool is designed for precise adjustments on carb idle mixture screws; my exact reason for my purchasing it. However, the gearing is so tight (by design) and gearing so rough (click, click) that I had zero feedback with the screws I was trying adjust. You cant feel the screw bottom out and you really cant tell if you have good contact with the screw at all. For instance, you might think you twisted a perfect 2.25 turns, however 1 of those turns, the driver was not properly engaged. Since, the gearing is so rough you cant feel if you are engaged on the screw or not. I give it a A+ on the converting the input action to 90 degrees in a very tight space, and ease of use. I give it a D- on the actual feedback the user feels while using this tool; rendering this tool useless, for my needs. I improvised another method that is working satisfactorily and I actually know where I am on the adjustment (leaps and bounds beyond this specialized tool).
