I was hunting around for something to give her as a guide and came across this book. She’s actually been using it, it’s sitting open next to her on the training mat while she’s making use of the movements and following the pictures Somewhat diligently. so I think for a beginner or reluctant weightlifter. This book does set you on a good course for a proper start of a weight lifting program. There’s a nice balance between visual and textual information. Well done.

Wow! This is a great book for anyone, especially someone who wants to have good form whether exercising with body weight or free weights. Although the book says it is for those new to weightlifting, I weightlifting for decades and really need this book as a refresher because I have not lifted in more than 10 years. This book is simple but yeah, the reviews are right, you need to do a lot of flipping back and forth in the book to actually perform any of complete (and nice) workout programs in the back. That needs to be improved. Other than the photos are clear, and the explanations are accurate. Thought it was clever they managed to portray a woman who is miraculously unable to be identified by any particular ethnicity. Hmm.
