Wow! I was really impressed with this product. It cleaned our washer really well. It was starting to smell. After using this the washer smelled great. My laundry smelled great too. Works really well.

Feb 2025 - this has a new formula. I’m uploading a photo. No more suspended charcoal. Seems to work similarly, although unfortunately the perfume that lingers DOES transfer to clothing. I’ve done a test set of towels that picked up the scent (after two hot heavy cycle clear rinses after the use of cleaner). Those towels took four heavy duty xlong cycles of hot with added baking soda and they now mostly are clear of scent… and I tried an untainted towel just now and it picked up the carbona perfume scent as well. Ugh… I just hope it fades soon so I can actually use my washer like normal again. Feb 2024 - I loved that it finally broke through the residue left from softener I accidentally used on vacation (should’ve known never use detergent pod packs with lots of sections). The scent transferred from those clothes into my washer. Other brand machine cleaners didn’t solve it. There was a greasy residue. This cleaner got nearly all of it off. But unfortunately it left behind its own perfume. If you look at its data sheet it does list perfume. So I should’ve known better than to trust the reviews that said it didn’t smell. Update - It doesn’t seem to be transferring to our clothing though, and it’s slowly fading as I run many cycles.

This is the only brand I have ever tried. I am struggling to remove an order from some clothing that stunk. What I like: easy to use; no awful cover-it-up odor. What I do not like is that it looks like I will have to use the product monthly, because the awful odor comes back.

I have been using this cleaner for a few years now! Excellent outcome each time and the drum stays fresh for 6-8 weeks, before I run another clean cycle! Depending on usage of your machine and “dirt” level, you may get away by dividing the cleaner solution for 2 cleanings! I split 1 bottle up in 2 cleanings.

Our front load washing machine had a strong mildew odor. If left wet things in there for any amt. of time the clothes would smell. Plus we have high levels of calcium and lyme. Self clean, bleach, vinegar nothing would work longer than a load or two. Smell would return qickly. This product seems to have finally done something about it. Cost effective, woked well, was easy, just followed label. Nice scent, not harsh at all. Very happy so far. Will purchase this again.

It works great! Use once or twice a week! Even gets rid of the mildew scent if you forget to put clothes on the dryer (oops)
