Taste
I have purchased this item in the past and it was delicious. This one tastes horrible. Needed it for myself and my dog and neither could stand the taste. The candies were ok but the jar of honey tasted rancid chemical taste.

Not good
Honey is good but jar wasn't full and definitely not 12 tablespoons in the jar. More like 6 tablespoons. The lable says 12tablespoons which in itself is wrong because there are 16 tablespoons in 8 ounces. I am extremely disappointed. $35 is alot of money to waste.

Is this really Manuka honey?
On my veterinarian's recommendation, I started purchasing Manuka honey. I ordered a different brand than this one on Amazon 5 times and he always ate it; even when he wouldn't eat his regular dog food. He has a collapsing trachea and the Manuka honey helps to soothe his throat after he coughs. It is also supposed to provide some other healthy attributes. After paying $63 for the other brand 5 times, I tried this brand. My dog will not eat it. He smells it and walks away. I tasted the Wedderspoon brand and it tasted like honey you might buy in a grocery store. The other brand (which my dog liked) tasted oddly wild and weedy. I did not like the taste, but my dog did and that's the important thing for me. The Wedderspoon honey does not list a value for UMF or MGO, which the other brand did. Maybe that is part of the difference. I can't get my money back or return the Wedderspoon honey because it's food and I understand that, but I'm out $38 and I guess I'll just use it on some toast.

not reliablly good - two bad jars is one too many for me
I have been using this product for YEARS - before I ever bought it repeatedly on Amazon. It is a daily thing. And if every under the weather I have more. However I have now received 2 jars not right. Doesn't look right, runny consistency (that's wrong), abnormally super (not in good way) sweet. 1st time I checked the batch number with back up jar - the batch # matched but the product in the jar DID NOT. I then set up extra subscribe and save to restock my supply only to open a 2nd baaaadddd jar. Different batch and expiration date. But no more of this Manuka for me. I hope to find reliable new one. If I was a quality control consultant and was asked what do you think is wrong? I would say that, (I believe they featured a newish squeeze bottle product) well if you are familiar with Manuka it don't squeeze! So I guess that whatever equipment was used for squeeze product was not fully cleared from the lines OR maybe counterfeit product has made it to the selves. This stuff Manuka honey ain't cheap so when it's not right it's baaddd. I'm really disappointed and really don't like to give a bad reviews but something is not right and I hope the problem is found and corrected and if my blathering on helps some then bully for me. ;(

THERE IS ALOT OF SUGAR ADDED TO THIS
I've been ordering this product several times and liked its Medicinal value. But this last time -- I noticed that there are Granules of SUGAR in the Honey. Honey is supposed to be Naturally Sweet so why is this Company Adding 34% Sugar to the Product? I am not happy with this. I should not be tasting GRANULES of SUGAR in the HONEY. What If I had Diabetes? This Product has alot of EXTRA SUGAR Added. I no longer want to Use this. I have used it before for my gums but NOW there are Granules of SUGAR and I don't want that on my gums. It is no Longer Effective for me and for the PRICE -- I will not Purchase this again

You change Your Honey, You Don't Get My Money
I have been consuming and sharing with others Wedderspoon Active 16+ for almost two years. Then Wedderspoon made changes that I find unacceptable. The first had to do with their label, which most people don't bother to read since the label color didn't change. Gone was organic certification by Ecosert SA. Gone was "Support the OMA mark which guarantees honey that is free from chemicals and pesticides." Missing are the following: Never feeding the bees sugar, area of forage is 5 km. from intensive farming, Ecosert approval. Added was the word "harmful" before chemicals and pesticides. Obviously, chemicals and pesticides are added and we are supposed to hope they are not harmful. Then I noticed that batch 110576 was definitely "watery" compared to earlier batches. It had nothing to do with the weather because last summer was just as hot and the manuka was just fine. Batch 110583 was almost as runny as 110576. Then came another shipment from Amazon.com that was packed very securely, but there was leaked honey all over the box. Amazon.com reimbursed me, but it wasn't their fault. The outer seal was intact but there was no inner seal. This runny honey had no difficulty passing between the jar and the cover. Additionally, although it no longer affects me, it appears that Wedderspoon followed through and no longer sells direct to Amazon.com, which raises the price a little more. I rated this product one star so I could submit my review. One star is very generous.

KFactor is misleading
Manuka Markers The most common marker for Manuka honey is MGO (methylglyoxal). It is a natural compound with antibacterial properties and is measured in the UMF and MGO grading systems. However, the UMF grading system also measures NPA (non-peroxide activity) which represents the industryโs standard phenol disinfectant. The NPA marker relates directly to the overall UMF rating. If a Manuka honey has an NPA of 18 then it will be UMF 18+. Leptosperin is naturally found in Manuka honey and is also measured in UMF. Leptosperin uniquely identifies Manuka. If it doesnโt have Leptosperin, itโs not Manuka. DHA (dihydroxyacetone) is also present in the UMF grading system. It is the precursor for methylglyoxal and determines the overall MGO levels. The KFactor grading system is quite different than UMF and MGO. Interestingly, it does not measure MGO, NPA or leptosperin levels.

Product Great - Demonic Amazon Packaging Unacceptable
This product is great. 5 Stars. The problem is the Amazon Packaging. The box has Satanic advertising on it for an Amazon program called "Good Omens" showing actor Jude Law with demonic, non-human eyes & demonic, horns on his head & demonic tail. We are a Christian household. We don't care how Amazon wants to try to portray this, as somehow acceptable, or mainstream - it's NOT acceptable to INVADE people's homes with this type of material. It does NOTHING to benefit the world, there is nothing GOOD about it. These images & material are offensive - please use Standard, plain brown box packaging which is acceptable to everyone. Please alert Amazon Marketing & Advertising and file this an Official Complaint.
