First I was upset but now am happy!
When I got the root in a bag it looked dead. I planted that day and gave it a sun lamp water and outdoor sun. That thing didn’t do ANYTHING! I wrote to the company through Amazon and had a replacement in 3 days! It’s alive and doing great! I’m very pleased and will buy from them again!

Wouldn't buy
We received the bulbs in an large envelope. They we're partly crushed. They we're not wrapped correctly. Really, not wrapped at all. Just tossed in a large (overnight style) envelope. We should have returned them. But we didn't. We planted them in hopes that they would be ok. Well guess what.... They never grew. Uggg. Just horrible.

Good peony root
Arrived healthy with enough buds, no mold or rotten roots (like some other vendors). Within a day peony had leaves poping out from the ground. Very happy

Small root with rot
Arrived in good condition, but I can't say it's excellent, because where the sprouts have hatched, there is rot. I'll clean this place carefully so as not to damage the sprouts and I hope the rot doesn't go further. I'll hope that this rootlet will at least produce leaves. Only then will I consider that the rootlet will survive.

Growing like crazy
I am not sure why this product has so many negative reviews. I put the bare root peony into a cup of water and have allowed it to sit for a few days and several of the nodes have sprouted. My peony is growing in water! Maybe it would work better for people if they allowed the bareroot to soak for awhile but I am very pleased with my purchase. Don't allow the naysayers to scare you away. Mine is alive and growing like crazy.

No Grow
Product has yet to bloom. I would like a refund or replacement.

The Peony plant is not growing as fast as the other variety I purchased.

Healthy root
Root arrived very healthy. I had 4 or 5 eyes on the one I received. Very happy with it. Planted it immediately and can't wait to see it grow. May take a couple years I read to see flowers but such a healthy root. However, no planting instructions were included with it so I had to Google how to plant it.
