The handle of my sliding glass door just came apart into 4 pieces in my hand! This is the perfect replacement if you aren't changing the entire locking mechanism. It fit perfectly into the holes of the previous handle- works great, has a decent amount of weight behind it so it doesn't feel like it will break. Super easy to install- with the slight exception that the bottom screw was just a tiny bit too long, and wouldn't tighten against the outer handle and door frame- very odd. The top screw was perfect, but I ended up having to use the screw from the old handle on the bottom- not a huge deal, but the colors of the screws don't match now.

Our small kids broke the handle off our 11 yr old slider. It was the older style with wooden handles, so | decided to try these out. Perfect Replacement! They were super easy to install (just make sure to swap out the handles one screw at a time or the whole lock will fall off and you'll have to carefully hold the lock in place while screwing the new handle in. Not tough, but not necessary if you swap out the handles one screw at a time.). Gives a really clean look to our all white slider with looks great! Two thumbs up for installation, price, and look...!

There are very few options as far as nice handles go for sliding glass doors that don't have 'Mortise Type' latches. These handles are the best I've found, and almost perfect. Here's the good and bad... Good - These are one piece handles, so nothing to separate or break like the wood handles out there. Made of sturdy, solid metal. All white, which matches most sliding glass doors. Simple to install. Bad - The screws that come with it are too long, and your existing screws will be too short. You'll either need to install a washer between the handle and the door, or get screws that are 1/8 to 1/4 inch shorter. I used a washer for each screw and that worked perfectly - although now the handle isn't perfectly flush because of the washer thickness. The handle is a little thinner where you grab it than the wood type handles, so a little 'sharper' on the edge and less comfortable. It's not a big deal, but my doors move easily. I think this handle is the best out there, practically and aesthetically. If it was a little thicker where you grab it, and had the proper length screws, it would be perfect.

Been using them daily for a few month. No problems. Fit perfectly. Easy to install. Happy with the purchase.

This was exactly what I was looking for to modify my slider patio door which came with no handle. This was easy to install, is very sturdy and I'm thrilled with how it works and has held up. Could not find this locally in any hardware or big box stores that didn't charge a fortune for the lock included - so this single handle was just what I needed.
