SUPER, durable keyboard that's just perfect
I LOVE this keyboard!! Good User Manual, easy pairing. Perfect key size, spacing, depth of travel. Very quiet function lets me type notes while on calls. Quick response after sleep mode. This is the second one I've purchased. First one was 4.5 yrs old & going strong, but I got it too wet with disinfectant wipes. I use this keyboard cover, which is a near-perfect fit (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075K5TXCL). Bought "Used-Mint" from Arteck and it was perfect condition.

Good keyboard
****I am updating my review. The unit I was sent had problems and it eventually became unusable. After claiming the warranty I was quickly shipped a replacement product. This keyboard works as advertised. The form factor is nice, it doesn't feel cheap, it is comfortable and pleasant to use. I love the brushed steel backing. The company ARTECK was very responsive and excelled in taking care of their product for me. I would recommend this keyboard and this company! ____________________________________ Started off strong. But after a week or two it became almost impossible to use. The problems began with a long delay between typing a key and the PC registering it. This problem evolved to a keystroke getting stuck and making a long line. For example trying to go to amazon.com I would type in amazon.com but the keyboard will glitch out and keys will stick. Oddly enough some times the keyboard works great! Right now writing this review it is working as advertised with no delay or stuck keys. But this only happens about 40% of the time. Other times it requires patience for each keystroke or aggravation trying to make it register one stroke per key. Otherwise, I love the size and form factor of the keyboard. It has excellent battery life and is easy to connect to a PC using bluetooth.

Great while it lasted....
My Arteck HB086 bluetooth keyboard has been a terrific tool. I have used it with my iPad 4 Mini nearly every day for nearly three years. I would not hesitate to buy this again. The major drawback is that some keys stopped working after about one year of regular use (and no abuse or mistreatment). I was able to work around this issue, a nonfunctional "up arrow" key. However, now, nearly two years after the first malfunction, five additional keys spontaneously stopped working. What I now have is a keyboard that does not allow me to write properly. The first key to die was the up arrow. Shortly after that, the "Enter" key died. On the iPad, I was easily able to work around these issues and continued using the keyboard. No problem. Recently, however, the Q, W, R, T and Y keys conked out and do not respond at all. (The E key continues to works, but not the keys to its left and right). I considered trying to repair the keys myself, but this keyboard seems to be glued or fused closed, so that it is difficult to crack open. It is not really made to be repaired, which is a shame. Frankly, this has been one of my favorite keyboards in recent years. I found it a pleasure to us this device, which connected to my iPad from the get-go and never presented any problems until the keys stopped working. It is a full-sized keyboard, about the same size as the one on myMacBook Pro 14" (early 2015 model). The feel and responsiveness of the keys was perfect for my touch typing. The keyboard is relatively light and compact, and travels easily. The integrated battery lasts for *weeks* of relatively heavy daily usage on a single charge (via a micro USB port along the side, near the delete key). With light daily usage, the battery lasts for months. It recharges rapidly (about 1-2 hours after weeks of use). I recommend this keyboard. I just wish that mine had lasted longer. Unfortunately, I am traveling and can't get a second Arteck keyboard delivered to my current location, so I'm buying a different brand and model to replace it. (Please note: I did not spill water or any other drink on this keyboard. Nor did I drop it. The keys stopped functioning while I was in the process of typing gently.)

Solid Build and Performance, but Key Travel and Micro-USB Charging Need Improvement
I purchased this Arteck external keyboard for use with my Ubuntu laptop, and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. Build Quality The build quality of the keyboard is excellent. The materials feel premium to the touch, giving it a sturdy and durable feel. Initial Pairing Experience When I first tried to pair the keyboard with my Ubuntu laptop, the process was a bit frustrating. Initially, the laptop did not recognize the keyboard as a Bluetooth device, even though my mobile phone and other devices detected it without any issues. After disabling and re-enabling Bluetooth on my laptop, the keyboard finally appeared in the list of available devices, and I was able to pair it successfully. Since completing the pairing process, I have not experienced any connection problems. Room for Improvement While I’m generally happy with the keyboard, there are two areas where it could be improved: 1. Key Travel The key travel is longer than my previous external keyboard. While this is a matter of personal preference, I prefer shorter key travel for a faster and more responsive typing experience. If you specifically want a keyboard with short key travel, this may not be the right choice for you. 2. Charging Port The keyboard charges via a micro-USB port. In an era where most devices are transitioning to USB-C, I wish this keyboard used USB-C for charging. It would have been more convenient to charge all my devices with a single cable instead of needing to carry a separate micro-USB cable. Despite these minor drawbacks, I believe the Arteck keyboard is a solid choice for those looking for a well-built external keyboard.

Did not receive anything that remotely looked like the product in the picture. The package received was scratched and torn and the keyboard was dirty with stains and scratches all over it.

The keyboards are great, good value, sturdy, easy to use etc. I purchased 19 on behalf of my workplace and the company were unable to provide a GST invoice for these products - when I asked for one, they supplied with me with an invoice with the wrong amount, shipping included (which was free) and only for 1 or 2 keyboards. When I tried again, I got the same response and eventually was told there was no invoice. No tax invoice came with the goods either. They also arrived 4 days late meaning they weren't able to be processed in the correct financial year.

I bought this keyboard in January. After about two months, the ALT key to the right of the spacebar just fell off. I don't even recall pressing that key. It doesn't snap back on, and that's really annoying. They tell me it has a two year warranty, but I don't see a way of contacting them to remedy this. I'd be happy just to have the key fit back on, if there were some way of doing that. UPDATE TO 1-STAR REVIEW: Quite soon after I posted the review, Arteck contacted me to express concern over the failed ALT key, and to reiterate that their 2-year warranty covers this problem. They provided me an Amazon link that would send me an identical keyboard at no cost. I quickly received the new keyboard, and began to try it out. After several weeks of it working flawlessly, I'm happy with the turnout. For unrelated reasons, I did not review the keyboard again immediately, but I am pleased to do so now. This experience has put keyboards on my mind. It's hard to find a good keyboard these days. I have been touch typing since Grade 10; that's about 50 years. It is one of the best skills I have learned. Back then quality of key feel used to be a lot higher. Genuine IBM keyboards felt beautiful. I attribute the decline in keyboard quality to the introduction and importance of the mouse for controlling the screen and selecting commands. I see fewer people touch typing at computers as a result of the mouse, voice recognition software, and touch screens. I don't even know if typing is still taught in high school. We have to accept that the golden age of keyboards and their use has long gone. I remember fondly my Northgate keyboard on my 286 and 386 machines. Its demise was partly the result of newer machines lacking that large round keyboard connector. So much for progress. The search for a quality keyboard continues. And this brings us to Arteck's model. Unlike other accessory keyboards I have used, Artech's keyboard excels for several reasons. The metal frame gives it a solid, quality feel. It is longer than many other keyboards, so your fingers do not feel crowded. The Bluetooth connections made to my cellphone worked flawlessly. Most important, keyboard feel is quite pleasant, and most welcome after using other, cheapie, keyboards. Non typists won't understand this, so there's no point in explaining the connection you feel to a good keyboard. My experience with this product is all positive. It's an excellent keyboard at a good price. The company stands behind their products 100% and wanted me to be satisfied with its purchase and use. I am completely satisfied with this keyboard, and recommend it unreservedly.

Good size, nice feel, good battery life and very convenient. However I am not giving it 5 stars as the keys are not as responsive as they should be. Sometimes one tap doesn't type, sometimes it types the letter twice, highly frustrating.
