Works great and easy to install
Received this faster than excepted. Works great. We bought this to extend the signal in our detached garage so we can use our keychain remotes to turn alarm on and off. We had a weak signal before we hooked this up. The alarm company wanted to charge over a hundred dollars more for this. So glad we did it ourselves. No programming required, just connected the Ademco Honeywell 1332 9V 15VA AC Plug In Class 2 Transformer we purchased separately and hooked it up with 22 gauge wire we had from another project. We installed this inside the garage near the window to pick up the signal better. Here's a great video on how to connect it that helped me. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aiQD3iNV69Y

Does not help me at my location.
I live in the Caribbean. System does not allow me to dial my mobile number or my local security company. This forces me to Honeywell which isn't available in my country.I had the prior model which gave me that option. Now I am sitting with a unit that I cannot do anything with.

Works! Best to Program for Individual Trouble Reporting
Honeywell Security 5800RP Ademco Alarm Wireless Repeater works with my Honeywell Lynx 7000 Alarm System. I found a DIY YouTube video that showed me how to unbox & wire the device and another video that demonstrated detailed Programming Instructions for Individual Trouble Reporting for the following: 1.) Low Battery 2.) Tamper 3.) Power AC Loss 4.) RF Jam -- this allowed me to identify & disable the RF Jam reporting that occurred unpredictably due to a wifi device that was also installed in my garage near the repeater. If I only programmed the repeater for combined trouble reporting, then my RF Jam problem would repeatedly appear as a Low Battery and I would not be able to isolate & disable it as such. This is critical for the alarm system owner/programmer to troubleshoot the device accurately. When I read reviews of this product anywhere online, I have to remind myself there are two ways to program this unit, because the reviews with complaints about the low battery alarms are typically due to the repeater being programmed for combined trouble reporting instead of individual trouble reporting. I hope this helps someone.

Worked well. Just what I needed! I bought this because I was having issues with a couple of sensors not registering with the main control unit. The beeping was driving me crazy. No more since I bought the 5800RP Ademco.

It repeats the signal, but gives constant low battery warnings.
It repeats the signal, but gives constant low battery warnings. I use this for wireless sensors and a wireless siren in my detached garage. This device does allow the signals to reach the house, but I constantly get a low battery warning, even weeks after installation when the battery should have been fully charged. I re-checked all connections several times, and checked the battery voltage, and all is correct, so there must be a defect in the repeater. To resolve the battery warnings I had to add the repeater to the panel as an "unsupervised" type, instead of "RF."

Easy to hook up to existing alarm system
Works perfectly. I was able to connect all of my wireless devices that were added in a new room addition. Easy to hook up to existing alarm system.

Don’t bother
If I could put zero star I would!I replace the 2013 battery that came with it and it still won’t charge. I replace the transformer and it still won’t charge. By that time there 30 day warranty is out. DO NOT BUY!!!!
