Some things are so bad they become classics. The movies "Plan 9 from outer space" and "Attack of the killer tomatoes" spring to mind for this category. The comic artist and his assistants" fits firmly in this category. This is a review of the blu-ray edition which comes on one disk and has 18 episodes. The episodes are short. Episodes 1 - 12 are approximately 13 minutes including the opening and closing themes. Episodes 13 - 18 are shorter and are probably the OVA although no distinction is made. The plot - Yuki Aito is a manga artist who always struggles with deadlines. His editor, Mihari, finds him assistants to help him meet the deadlines. The assistants are all cute girls who have to cope with the repressed bachelor and his weird obsessions. Aito is the classic harem protagonist who lets his imagination run wild and who has to be put in his place by the girls. This is an episodic anime with no real story arc. There are some themes though. Mihari and Aito have known each other since high school and their relationship is the core of the story. The next theme is Ashisu. She is his original assistant and the girl who has coped with him longest. Then we have the theme of deadlines and coping with them. Comments - As you might expect from an ecchi/harem anime there is fan service but not as much as you might think from the cover. All of the harem tropes are followed, their is a high school flash back, an onsen/beach episode and so on. This is manically paced with each story compressed to a couple of minutes within an episode. The stories are often broken up with a pop art spacer showing the girls' horror at Aito's latest dumb act or suggestion. In the end the series is carried by Aito who is the "pervert" the girls think he is but who can also teach and who actually cares for them too. He just can't show it. Summary - I loved the style, I loved the pacing and the humour. You can binge watch this very easily due to the short episodes and it will leave you wanting more. This anime was ok. The artwork was fair. As far as the story. It could be better. They try to make a 12 episode but does not really work. It's to short. In short, it not really worth get it!

Good series one of my favorite to watch. Shipping not so much upper corner was broken but blue ray disc was not damaged so I guess I could live with a broken case.

the movie was great and I enjoyed each episode.

リュージョンフリーのプレイヤーかパソコンで見られます。（国内のプレーヤーでは見れないと思えばいいでしょう） パソコンならＶＬＣ等のリュージョンフリーの無料プレーヤーをダウンロードすればいいです。 ウィンドウプレイヤーでは１０回の制限がでて。１０回国を変えると以降見れなくなります。 字幕は消せます。 機械音痴のわたしでもリュージョンフリーのプレイヤーなら安心して見てます。 作品はまあまあです。 声優の早見沙織さんが出演されてたのと、深夜にみてたので購入しました。
