Great scope. I wanted a scope ideally setup to enhance my AR's abilities. This w/o a doubt is a great choice. I chose the green horseshoe for the numerous remarks that this is the best overall combination. Keep in mind that this scope isn't ideal for every situation. If reaching beyond 150 + yards, you may want to look into some other options. The scope is designed to be used with both eyes open. Once you get used to this, the CQ features of this scope begin to shine. Keep in mind though this is not the sole purpose of this scope so if this is your cup of tea, you may want to go with something like an eotech. Now for the bad- and I don't mean the scope here! I purchased from a third party seller, Opticsplanet. I paid for one day shipping and received it 6 days later! To their defends, one day was my fault because of an issue with my bank.
