Very Happy!
Very happy with the purchase. The packaging is pretty good, two bags with 3 hostas in each bag, roots were surrounded by peat moss, all roots were healthy. 5 out of 6 hostas already had small leaves sticking out, the 6th one had it broken off, but once all were planted into the ground all 6 started growing quite nicely. In 10 days most already look like real plants and are identifiable(as in visible colors and stripes). The only thing to note, since its sold as a mix, you don't really know what each one is going to become before planting(solids/stripes). If you need to be sure, you might want to plant them in temporary pots first to see what type comes out before planting into the ground to fit your garden design.

Growing well straight outta the box!
They are growing well indoors straight outta the box! I suspect by spring they'll be ready for outdoor planting. Looking good so far. Tip: Use Scotts seedling planting soil mixed lightly with regular enriched planting soil. Heavy outdoor soil by itself isn't the best way to go. Wet it without flooding. Got compost? Use it too!

Healthy plants but little variety
All plants were viable, healthy roots, and have sprouted nicely! The only issue I have is that they were supposed to be a mixed variety, and so far, everything pretty much looks like the same plant, except for one. I have had many hostas, so I know they start to appear different after the leaves have fully gained color. So I waited until after they grew a little to review these plants. Other than that, I am very satisfied with the quality! I just wish there were more variety.

I'D GIVE A 10 STAR RATING IF I COULD!
I'm shocked and impressed with the high quality of these hosta pups. They arrived moist and with white feeder roots already formed. I planted all 6 them 2 days after arrival and all 6 are taking off rapidly, already growing and thriving, doubled in height in only 1 week!

Lack of variety and not all grew but most did
Out of 11 roots, 8 made it (planted in pots inside as I’m in NY and got them in December). Four are white feather and four are the green with a bit of light green striping. More variety would be great and I’m a bit bummed not all grew, but the ones that did seem content and I'm looking forward to planting them outside once I can harden them off. The ones I’d had for years have been eaten by bunnies so fingers crossed these aren’t expensive rabbit food.

very nice
I had a bit of a shipping issue, but the seller quickly took care of the problem. The plants have a good root system and the growth on them look great. You can't beat the value for the money.

Growing and healthy!!
I have had them in dirt 6 days now. They are all sprouting and they all look to be the same type hosta. They look healthy! That's the most important thing. Can anyone or someone from the company tell me what type They are? How big will they grow? Are they fast growers? They look similar to an August Moon, but I am a beginner. Hope someone replies and thank you in advance!!

Take your time separating them since one may be very small. 5/6 still good! Will reorder.
I would have given them a 5/5 review . The roots were very viable and healthy. Six came . 5 were a healthy size but 1 was very small. I’m planting it different so I can monitor its progress. (growing slowly). All germinated the day they came out of the box. My problem? Only two varieties Came. I will order again and hopefully I can get one or two of the variegated varieties that were shown in the pictures. I’m very pleased with the plants that I have now and would encourage anyone to buy from this dealer.
