Great stainless steel litter box for a smaller single cat
I'm not sure if any review I give is applicable for this pan because I'm not using it for it's intended purpose on a steam table. I'm using it as a litter box for my cat. I got a cat from the SPCA and I noticed that all the litter boxes they use are stainless steel - no plastic anywhere and they take care of hundreds of animals weekly. I looked all over Amazon for a stainless steel litter box and came up with zero - everything was plastic and they range in cost from $5 to $400. I'm not sure who is stupid or lazy enough to buy a $400 "automatic" litter box but that's another review. I bought a short term use plastic litter box and without fail the newer clumping litter glues itself to the bottom of the plastic pan which is a common complaint about plastic litter boxes.. This stainless pan arrived today and my cat has used it three times and I know already that it is far easier to remove clumping litter from this stainless pan than from my plastic pan. The size is great for a smaller, single cat (21" x 13" x 6" tall). The 6" height is nice and it avoids most litter (not all) from being tossed on the floor. I put a cat litter carpet underneath that works really well so that problem was solved. My cat is female and if you have a male, you may have "firehose" problems regardless of the material or pan height but for a smaller, single female cat, this pan works great. For me, stainless steel is far more hygienic than plastic and I can use any chemical or the hottest water available, steam or even a pressure washer and it won't bother stainless steel and it was $25, not $400. Yeah, I have to scoop poop and pee but with the clumping litter it's far easier than messing with some error prone techno-junk box that acts like an Easy Bake oven for cat poop. If we get another cat, I'll get one more of these pans. They can't break, melt or retain any odor and if you scrub them out, you could run them in a dishwasher (alone!) to sterilize them. Overall, $25 well spent and my cat agrees.

Perfect pans for butchering
I butcher deer meat all the time in the fall and winter months. These pans are great for outdoor use and to haul any meat scraps in or innards. Use them for putting all my knives in one place while outside skinning the deer. They are durable and help keep all the meat and innards clean and free of hair or dirt. Have a few on hand and use the small ones for the heart and liver. Easy to clean up pans and work for the outside job no one seems to want to do.

Perfect for a large Costco brisket
Cooking for a crowd? This is amazing and a must have for any host. Especially when making lots of meat. We mostly using it for making large briskets

Metal is better than plastic for litter pans.
This is definitely metal, so works for me as I was trying to get away from using a plastic litter pan for my cats. Good size for my rescued kitties. However, I have two other steam pans from different companies that are made of a heavier metal that is actually stainless, as the litter/urine does not stick or corrode those two. This pan is a lighter metal, with a matte finish. I can't really tell if it is stainless, it appears to really be aluminum. I've only had it a few days and the clumping wheat litter I use is sticking a little, and the urine is leaving a film on the surface of the pan. Time will tell if the pan is really stainless, or how urine affects it as opposed to the other stainless pans I have. I will update in six months or so. 3/2017 update: This pan has stood the test of time well. No rust or corrosion build up at all. I do believe it is stainless, just thinner than the one from a different company that I have. I actually like it better because it is lighter. No more sticking with the litter, perhaps there was a shipping coating that made the litter stick the first few uses? My cats still use it!

Awesome as a lasagna pan
I purchased this after looking high and low for a good, cheap, deep pan for lasagna. Everything I found was either 3" deep or less, leading to bubble over and low number of layers, too small, expensive for what it was, or all three. This worked perfectly, it was deep, almost the perfect size for the noodles (it's as if Barilla cut their lasagna noodles to perfectly fit the width of this pan), and nothing stuck. Perfect. However, there are some other things to consider. You might consider buying a heavier gauge pan, while the rim on this pan keep it from warping at all, the bottom would probably tend to dent and ding if you throw it in a cabinet with other pans. The larger consideration is size, this is a BIG pan, it fits fine in a standard oven, but makes enough lasagna for an army. I'm talking 4, maybe even 5, boxes of pasta to fill the pan. That's a lot of lasagna. A 2/3 size pan would probably be the ideal large lasagna pan, 1/2 might be even better for most normal sized families.

It Has Passed the "Stella" Test...
I bought this for a most unusual purpose. It is now the home for my pet Teddy Bear Hamster, Stella. Stella is beyond adorable but she's a fierce chewer and chews anything and everything she can. I supply her with numerous things to chew on and she chooses to chew on the things I don't want her to chew like her housing, water bottle holder, the base of her wheel, etc. I was tired of her chewing through her housing and everything else in sight - all six inches of her. I wanted something she could not chew through. So my ingenious husband cut a hole on the side, smoothed and duct taped around the edges so there would be no chance of her cutting herself getting in and out. It is working like a charm. Whew!

Great for boiling Syrup
I boil my maple sap with a 55gal drum converted with a camp stove kit. 2 cutouts for pans. These pans are top notch. They don't rust and clean easy enough

Worked for boiling sap
Used these for boiling sap this year and they worked well. They are a bit thin and did warp a bit from the heat but that didn't effect anything. Will be using them every year unless now.
