It is quite comfortable when it is adjusted properly and seems to help pull moisture away as you sweat in all the contact areas. The padding does seem to contribute to excessive sweating, so hydrate more. The hardware and features of the harness seem heavy duty and well constructed. It does have some weight to it compared to the minimum mandatory junk companies provide to visitors and contractors who don’t have their own harnesses. I have a separate suitcase only for PPE that I carry mine in. For what you get compared to what it costs, I feel like this harness is pretty nice. I do not remember seeing any evidence of service life expiration though. If I remember correctly my last harness was good for 3 years barring wear and tear, misuse and abuse, or being involved in a fall arrest scenario. There should be an expiration tag on this thing somewhere near the chest area, which is normally part of the pre-use inspection. It would sure go a long way in helping to explain why I have to buy a new one down the road when I do my expense report. Review: High quality harness. - This is a great harness. I've spent a lot of time on my roof cleaning gutters and doing Christmas lights, sitting and standing a bit. The harness never got loose and none of the buckles came undone or came close to it, always felt safe. Weight is good. It's not too heavy, but doesn't feel cheap, but I will say I'm happy to take this off after a while.
