Not always the cheapest option per page...just do the math. But it is always HP brand name toner cartridges for me. They just plain work the best and give long life. Cough up.

Use original. I have tried the non hp toner ones, they messed with my printer, and had to replace my PRINTER, three times. No more taking any chances.
