Not quite as advertised
Not exactly as green as shown. In fact it's almost white. I thought maybe there was a wrapper on it but no. The product description states it is green as does the photograph. Later in the description it says it's gray green. It takes awhile to get it to stick to the strop and starts flaking off while in use. Time will tell.

Great stuff.
I got these free with the purchase of the Beavercraft strop. Good polishing compound and the one I received with the strop, sets me up nice for a while. Works really great ever. Really brings back the edge, hons that blade perfectly.

Bad odor
As soon as I pulled one out of the packaging I could smell diesel fuel, went ahead and applied to my strop and the entire house smelled like petroleum, no other strop compound that I've used ever had a smell. Needless to say wife wasn't happy.
