This adapter is FAST! I am upgrading my home network to 2.5G and I have some computers that don't have 2.5G network adapters, including a very nice Dell laptop. Although TP-Link doesn't say what network chipset they use, the specs say it is supported by windows 11 without having to download any drivers so when I got it I just plugged it in right away. As advertised, the computer recognized the adapter and connected at the full 2.5G speed! It's always nice to see a piece of tech work as advertised. I also found the device looks and feels very robust, high end. It has enough weight to it that it feels like it's solid construction and won't break if I put it into a laptop case and travel with it, and it looks nice enough that it's not out of place on an office desk. I do wish TP-Link would include the actual adapter chipset in the specifications, because not everyone looking for a network adapter is running windows so they'd need to know the chipset to verify compatibility. But that's a TP-Link marketing fail, not a problem with the adapter itself. It worked right away, and looks nice too. Recommended!

Plug and play. Works great, fast and reliable ethernet commection. I like that it has USB ports on it. I plugged the dongles to my wireless keyboard and mouse into it to free up ports on the computer. Nice cheap solution to the unreliable wifi I was dealing with

I bought this for my 5 year old Sony Bravia Smart TV running android 10 and it works great! Less latency than Wi-Fi and always on vs needing to connect to Wi-Fi means my TV is snappier and caching is nearly non existent. Stop was easy, I literally plugged it into an available USB port and plugged the Ethernet cable into it. No drivers or apps needed.

Excellent dongle for macOS. Inexpensive, compact and clean. ASIX chipset is solid. Unlike cheap generic dongles, I never experience dropouts or hiccups. No driver needed for macOS. Very happy. Save yourself time money and frustration and get a dongle like this. Especially if you work in IT and need performance and stability.

Works with opnsense 26+. No additional drivers needed. I am using it as an iot interface with a Dell micro PC. Speeds are acceptable around 700-800mbps in optimal conditions.

Bought this recently after trying another, cheaper brand that didn't work for me on either of the two PCs I needed it for. Well, you may have heard the old saying, 'buy cheap, buy twice'. I should've bought this one first. I used this on a machine running Windows 10 and a Mac. Both times, I just plugged it in, waited a minute or so for good measure and it works. Would buy another one if I needed it. The postage was also super-fast.
