I want to put pictures of my family in it** A: Yes, Mary--it opes up and contains a few symbolic articles in it, i.e., manna, rod of Aaron and the tablets of the Commandments. It's a great quality and just the right size that I was looking for ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Gold spray paint makes this perfect *by S***O on August 21, 2018* I am very impressed with this Ark of the Covenant. I didn’t think I’d even find something like this on Amazon. I purchased mine for a decoration for a Bible gathering I am hosting, but I think it will also be helpful in teaching our kids. Sometimes having things more hands on makes it more interesting and memorable. I am impressed with the detail, even on the inside. My only complaint is that when it arrived I think the gold color was a little too orange and hardly any sheen. I decided to give mine a light coating of gold spray paint and I love how it looks now. I used a Rustoleum Brilliant Gold Metallic spray paint. It now looks much more like real gold and has much more sheen. The pictures I’m including are after I painted it with the spray paint.
