The complicated ideas behind the United States Constitution are described through adventure heroes! John Locke describes our rights in a state of nature from his perch on a vine as lord of a jungle. John Peter Zenger tests freedom of speech as a mild-mannered journalist from another land. Thomas Jefferson erects a statue for religious freedom, separating church from state. Finally, the writing of the plan for our government is told as a quest to build a new starship for Captain Washington, Mr. Madison and George "Bones" Mason. This funny, colorful graphic novel will excite reluctant readers, prepare students for standardized tests in history and help homeschooling parents! Review: Great for driving home the info - This was a fun way to round out our unit lesson on the constitution. As a homeschooler Iโm always looking for engaging reading materials. Review: Great series to read! - Great material for homeschooling, graphic comic images, easy to read, full of good content and enjoyable to students. Highly recommend!

EXCELLENT TEACHER TOOL!
One of the best teaching tools! I use Chester Crab whenever I get a chance. It seems to guarantee my students remember the material.

Look it
My son has been reading these for a year now and we love when new ones come out. He is 11 almost 12 and reads them on his own in now time. I love them because they are silly, but really good history. IT is a great supplement to any history class.

What a confusing mess!
We generally like books on this series, but this one, on an attempt at mimicking Star wars, Superman and Tarzan while telling the stories, made it incomprehensible. Even my most dedicated, history lover learner could not figure out what they were talking about. Even I wasn't sure what they were referencing at times. Very disappointed.

AP US review
I am a high school student who still loves picture books. This book was a great review for the AP US exam. If you know your stuff you will recognize all the little details. This is the most politically correct book for young students that I have ever read. I also bought some of the other series. Great books!
