Worth every penny.
OMG. Throw the old shock as far as you can. I bought this shock for two reasons: to lower the bike and to stop my bones from being rattled. It succeeded on both counts. Bike rides like a completely different machine. Do it, do it, do it!

Good shock, good price
Good, cheap shock for the BMW K 75. Not a performance shock, but it's not a performance bike. Good price, MUCH better than the BMW shock, and cheaper as well. Also, this isn't the lower shock you can buy; I prefer this one. Rides a bit better, andis easier on the bolt that holds the shock to the drive hub.

What a difference!
From the flaccid OE BMW shock on my 88 K75. The only hiccup is that it raises the rear of the bike every so slightly but just enough that my wife doesn't quite have enough leverage to put it up on the center stand now without a little tug from me on the luggage rack. :)

This shock improved the handling of my K75S and the price didn't break the bank. I also have Progressive springs in the front forks.
