The Pentek Quick-Change series of filter heads are perfect for any point of use application. The QC10-CBR male threaded filter head features a fast and simple installation and includes the Pentek QC10-CBRR quick change replacement cartridge for premium water filtration. Review: Installed Easy-Peasy - I was amazed that this newer model of filter worked so well. There has been zero leaks since installing over six week ago (24 JUN 2021). I was concerned about the fit or if the filtration would cause some sort blockage in the flow, but none of that. Time to order more for the other fountains.

Installed a head to plumb water to refrigerator ice maker (basic fridge; no built in filter) Our town has good water, but is a little heavy handed with chlorine after rains. It’s easy to taste in “on the rocks” drinks. This filter removes ALL taste from the water.

**Q: Can this be used to filter hot water?**
A: No, from what I know all filters with carbon material cannot be used with hot water.

**Q: I just changed a filter. The problem is when i was using the water to wash my hand, it came out lots of bubbles. Is it normal?**
A: Hi Li.  This is normal function.  The carbon block in this product takes some time to get fully wet because there are many pore spaces which hold air.  These bubbles should get better over time although there might be just a little bubbles long term.  I hope this filter gets you many refreshing glasses of great tasting water!
