Plant Therapy is my absolute trusted brand for high quality, pure essential oils. After doing some research, I discovered that many brands are peddling fake, adulterated, or otherwise fraudulent essential oils, but that Plant Therapy has a clean record in that regard, so I buy my oils from them. As for this set, it’s a great way to get some commonly used essential oils for a deal, as they are cheaper in this set than they would be individually. This set includes: Bergamot, Clary Sage, Cinnamon Cassia, Eucalyptus (Globules), Grapefruit, Lavender, Lemon, Lime, Patchouli, Peppermint Supreme, Rosemary, Spearmint, Orange & Tea Tree. They all smell reasonable to my untrained nose – not overpowering and cloying like artificial fragrance, and not weird and stinky like chemicals. The only one I can say I’m not super fond of is the Patchouli, but it’s because I’m not fond of the smell of Patchouli, not because it’s bad quality. I’ve already found lots of uses for these oils - they work great in bath bombs and in a diffuser, too. I’ve also discovered a nifty use for them: if you clean with vinegar but hate the smell, you can add 5 drops of peppermint and 5 drops of orange to the spray bottle full of vinegar, and by the next day, the smell changes! It smells far, far less vinegar-y after that. I use them in my spray-mop solution and it works great for that, too. This set is a fabulous value for someone who’s just getting started with essential oils, or as a gift. Of course, if you already bought some sets in the past, there’s a good chance you’ll get some duplicates in here. Either way, though, I recommend it – I’ll probably reorder this set once I get low on most of these staple oils.

Great quality EO for a fair price, and I love that is does not come from an MLM!

I love these oils and this set. I have used several companies and I find Plant Therapy to be one of the finest out there! The GC/MS (purity) report is right online...with doTERRA you have to BUY the product before you can see the report, with Young Living, you are told "all questions about products must be submitted to product support by email"...and with these other companies you are paying 4 times as much. I like the transparency of the company...they don't try to sell you lies like food grade oils (no such thing), oils rated for consumption (a very misleading rating about ALL essential oils by the FDA as part of the GRAS (generally regarded as safe) classification, and they TELL you that there is no such thing as Therapeutic Grade oils ( I knew that but was surprised this company educated others on it). Ten years ago high quality essential oils might have been rare and worth the premium price (I don't really believe that but I'm trying to be gentle for all the YL/DT readers out there), but no longer! There are SEVERAL companies that put out great quality essential oils and Plant Therapy is making a name for themselves with there quality and all the great instructional videos on YouTube and their site. Got questions, just call and you will be hooked up with a certified aromatherapist! They also have an entire line of kid safe oils! Stop drinking the Koolaid with these other overpriced brands, loving essential oils doesn't have to break your budget!

Because these are relatively inexpensive, I was hesitant to buy them as I wondered about the quality. I decided to give it a go because of the positive reviews. So far I have used these: in a diffuser; in homemade lotions, oils, and body scrubs; in bath water; in homemade laundry detergents and fabric softeners; as a substitute for VapoRub and BioFreeze; as air fresheners; and in cleaning products. I have found ZERO difference between these and brands such as DoTerra and Young Living except a much lower price, and no pressure to become a local distributor. This set is packaged well, and a great starter set. I think it would also make a great gift because the box is cute. The oils smell fresh and appealing and best of all they do not aggravate my husband's sensitive allergies or my sensitive skin like most commercial products do. I had all but given up on scented things until i got into essential oils and now we, and our house smell amazing :) Make sure you google what oils are safe to be applied directly to skin and which need to be diluted first. The internet is a great resource for all the uses of essential oils and there are many books out there too. I will be ordering from this company again and I'm so glad I now know I don't have to spend a fortune for quality product. .

I was very happy to receive my kit. It was shipped quickly and packaged in a nice box. My only complaint (and the reason I gave a rating of 4 stars rather than 5) is because upon opening the outer box I could smell cinnamon very strongly coming from inside. Further inspection of the contents inside the kit box, which had an oil spot on the side and bottom, confirmed that the cinnamon oil was leaking. About 1/4 of the bottle was lost to the box and another item in the box now reek of cinnamon. Other than that, the oils are wonderful. They all smell as I expected and the dropper tops all work. I will most likely buy again from this company in the future. I have recommended them to another person already. All the above is my experience and opinion based on the products I have purchased and nothing was promised to me In Exchange for my review.

After talking with Plant Therapy directly I felt comfortable ordering this from Amazon as an authorized seller for them. I knew I was getting the same product I could get from Plant Therapy's website and it was cheaper -- which the Customer Service rep also explained to me! I have done a lot of research on oils and my cabinet contains many brands from trendy, but super expensive YL bottles to RMO and NOW. Plant Therapy continually has good reviews and is among the Top 5 meeting all the criteria one should use to evaluate the quality of oils. For me this was the best choice to build my collection of base, popular oils. I can diffuse these, I am comfortable diluting them and using them on my skin (though you should certainly make an informed decision with your healthcare provider before applying them to skin, and follow all instructions for safe application thoroughly), and blending my own common recipes rather than buying the blends. Can't say enough about the good these have done in my life. But, do your own research. It is out there and it took me several days. Make an informed decision based on the research -- for me the research led me almost exclusively to Plant Therapy. As a tip if you order through Plant Therapy there are always specials and they have a rewards system. I always compare before choosing where to buy!

So I am very "new" to Essential Oils and was looking to duplicate a "spa like" pure EO blend I purchased in London. My tendency is to look at the # of Amazon reviews for a product before reading them because if the numbers are high, then it's obviously a best seller.... right? In this case, I wondered why the prices were soooo vastly all over the board so I was puzzled.... I was just about to buy an assortment of EO's from a "best-seller" but I started reading the negative reviews first. I came across a reviewer who said that most of these companies that claim they sell 100% pure EO's are misleadingly claiming so. While I took that with a grain of salt (hey maybe it was a competitor review?) this person suggested watching a video on YouTube called "Scamazon". WOW did I learn a lot! The video is of an absolute expert in the field of EO's and who scientifically tests them for additives. He exposes several companies on Amazon that are making false claims about their products as well as a few reputable ones. Now from what I understand, having chemical additives isn't necessarily a bad thing but it depends on the application you are using it for. Sometimes an EO "fragrance" is perfectly ok. I am nebulizing mine and I also have pets so I really wanted pure oils. It turns out that for any of these companies to claim that their oil is 100% pure, only a very very small percentage of pure oil (less than 10% if I remember right) is required and the rest can be chemical additives. This particular company was one of the ones tested that did not mislead and did not have "filler" chemicals so that's why I personally made my purchase. Decide for yourself but decide informed! Who knew? I am in NO WAY SHAPE or FORM affiliated with anybody in this industry or in this review... just wanted to pass on my own personal experience....

These are seriously the best oils for the best value. Packaging: The packaging is so clean and natural, and keeps all the bottles very safe. As for the bottles themselves, I've seriously dropped one on a tile floor before and had a small piece of the bottom chip off, but nothing spilled and the bottle is still very much usable. So strong! Oil Quality: I am more than comfortable using these oils to diffuse, to use on my skin, and even to ingest. They all smell great and so pure. Shipping Time: I always get my oils so quickly! Everything usually ships that day or the very next morning. Please buy these oils! They're not only great quality, it's also a family-owned business.... and not an MLM!
