I have tried both kinds & prefer the oatmeal choc. chip. I have noticed a difference of increased milk for my newborn. It could partially be the demand but I figured eating these cookies would keep me out of something less healthy. I eat 1 a day but it is recommended to eat 2. They are not super cheap so if 1 does the trick I would stick to that. Worth a try & if you don't like, you don't have to buy again. I think they help especially if your having a hard time breastfeeding as I did in the beginning. It's more rewarding when you are supplying enough for your baby. Formula is yuck. It is nice and crunchy and the spices add a nice blend of flavor to the cookie. Of the three flavors of Bumpboosters pregnancy cookies this and the oatmeal chocolate chip tie for my favorite. They are both wonderful but very different flavor profiles so hard to pick one!I am 25 weeks pregnant and one of the first things that happens to me is I can no longer eat big meals while pregnant. I am used to eating three big meals and sometimes might snack in the afternoon, but during pregnancy I have to eat smaller meals and fill in with snacks throughout the day. I do try to eat healthy but I also have a huge sweet tooth so these cookies from Bumpboosters are the perfect solution. It is nice to be able to eat a cookie and still know I am getting a dose of vitamins and minerals to help out me and the baby. I also love that they are made without preservatives since those really are not ideal. The convenience of these inidividually wrapped cookies is amazing, I can keep one in my purse or diaper bag and not worry about leaking crumbs everywhere. It also makes it easy to freeze them if you won't be eating right away and you can just pull them out as you need them.
