Great eliminator of cloudy water
Love this product. Won’t use anything else in my pools. We have 2 properties one has an in-ground and one has an above-ground pool. Works great in both.

It works!
I've been using this for years. If you have your water treated correctly but it's still a little hazy, this does a remarkable job.

Just what the pool needed
I have used many brands of classifier through the years and this is my favorite to make nice sparkling water with ease. Having well water filling our pool makes things a little tricky as we have very very high iron levels. This was used after the first shock when full with the water turning a nice color of coffee, sad I know. However a good dose of this and running the sand filter overnight the water was almost clear in the 24 hours later. A second dose was added and bam another 24 hours later crystal clear water with some iron sitting on the bottom, vacuumed right up and very little passed through the filter and nothing that wasn't caught on a later vacuuming. I've used metal out in the past, what a waste that was. Shock to oxidize the iron, this to clump it, then clean the floor and walls. Unlike some I am typically lucky and only need this when opening for the year but I still highly recommend this to anyone wanting sparkling water. As a side note for anyone dealing with clear iron in their water, shock the water hard which will oxidize it, use this super blue to help clump it. Then a funny looking solution I've used for years before I upgraded my filter and pump. 2 five gallon buckets with a bunch of holes drilled in the sides, bottom and top. To the lid add fittings to fit sump pump discharge hose and use a T to connect those two with discharge hose to your return line in whatever way works for you. Add to the buckets 1-2 cheap pillow's stuffing each as it's the cheapest way I found to buy poly filling. A day to a few and all the iron gets trapped in those buckets, pull them out and return your return line to normal. Take great care to pull the buckets out as fast as possible from the pool and get them away from running back into the pool as the water coming out when pulling is NASTY. Simply pull the lid off the buckets and rinse out the pillow stuffing with a hose and be amazed. Instead of the pool pump return you can also use a sump pump, just be careful with them as many will rust to pieces in the pool water in no time, try for a cheap thermoplastic pump. This Solution saved us lots of money over having water trucked in by the water hauler companies.

Clarifier
I use this product has a weekly maintenance to keep the pool clear. It works well, not fantastic, but well. I usually do In The Swim clarifier, but with a little price increase I decided to try this. If my pool gets a little cloudy, it works but sometimes takes a day or two longer than the In The Swim product. Instructions are pretty easy and straight forward. Came not broken or leaking.

Sparkling clean pool water in a few hours
My pool was looking pretty funky after I forgot to shock it after a big party here. My robot wasn't doing the trick for the algae control, so I needed to bring in the big guns. This is probably my 20th bottle of this stuff, it really works great for algae and general dingy water. You just pour a cup or so into the deep end of your pool, let the pumps cycle it through, and then your pool robot will get the stuff off the bottom. Easy. I only buy it when I really need it, but the contrast of before and after is stark. I didn't think to snap pictures, but I will next time. My only gripe is that the bottle looks like a gallon, but it's actually miniature, you get a whole lot less than you think you're getting, and it surprises me every time. It looks like a 1-gallon jug, it's not, it's much smaller.

Pea Soup Green Pool
Glad to see the reviews that some had good results. But for me, after 6 weeks of thunder storms and downpours my pool water developed a green Algae bloom. Even though I shocked it after every rain storm, it literally turned into Pea soup and could not see even one inch below the surface of the water. During this time, every morning I Vacuumed the pool, then removed the filter element and cleaned it with the hose. The next morning nothing changed. I then tried Algaecide, Super Blue Pool Clarifier, and kept using the Shock each day, and again Vacuum the pool the next day, remove the filter element and clean it, but Nothing changed after a week. So, I kept searching the web for a solution. And, I found a video different from all the others that kept talking about Algaecide and water Clarifier. In the video, they did start talking about Algaecides and water Clarifier, But....... Then they went on to say when you have what I have happening to my pool water, I needed to simply Shock the hell out of the water. So feeling it was my last resort, I started Shocking my pool every day with HTH Pool Care Shock Advanced for Swimming Pools. Each day for 7 days I Shocked the water with 4, 1 pound packets of the HTH Shock, and the next morning Vacuum the pool, remove the filter element and clean it. Then Shock it again with 4 packets of HTH. Each day I could see a slight improvement in the water. Then, each day I did this, the water cleared up more and more until FINALLY, the water was now Crystal Clear by the 7th day. Just info for what it's worth.
