This really works! I didn’t think it would but the gophers have all done - some to the neighbors lawn. Mix 1 cup into a gallon of water with 1 cup of dish soap, put it in a pumper sprayer and spray everything. Safe for children and pets but makes the vermin flee!

I was skeptical if this would work. Did not want to use chemicals due to pets. Easy instruction and applied to holes in yards for voles. Actually saw 1 running away from where I sprayed, gave me hope. Gave it a second round of spray a few days later and no new signs of the voles! So far so good!

I installed grass in a 1000 sq ft area in my yard. Just to make sure it works I doubled the amount of this product in the mixture and applied to the new area. Next morning area looked okay; second morning damage; third morning significant damage. Great product if you want to double the amount and spray every day. No ideal how many days of spraying it would have required.

I’ll rate this 3/5 stars I bought this castor oil mole repellent hoping for an easy spray-and-go fix. Here’s how it actually went: What worked: It does repel moles. When I dug a hole right where a mole tunnel started, mixed the castor oil with dish soap, and poured it in, the mole abandoned that spot. The castor oil + dish soap combo seems to irritate them enough to leave. What didn’t work: 1. No spraying – You can’t just spray your lawn. I tried once and it left the grass super greasy and slick. It has to be poured directly into active tunnels. 2. It’s a game of whack-a-mole – They move away from the treated spot, but then pop up somewhere else in the yard. You’re just chasing them around. 3. Labor intensive – You have to find active tunnels, dig each one, mix, and pour. For a big yard, that’s a lot of work. Bottom line: If you have 1-2 problem spots and don’t mind the effort, it works as a targeted treatment. But if you want a whole-yard solution you can spray, this isn’t it. I wish there was an easier application method that didn’t make grass greasy.
