Tiptree Lime Curd, 11 Ounce Jar (312g)

I've ordered this 3-4 times now, and it makes a very good Key Lime Pie. It' is high in sugar (as any lime curd would be), so I mix it with a good lime yogurt, and 8 oz of Cream Cheese. (look for recipes, that's just how I made one of mine). Great tasting, good quality and is less expensive than my previous brand. I add a few drops of green food coloring, to bring in more "Lime" color.

This has a wonderful flavor. It’s extra good mixed with some cottage cheese. I used Daisy brand cottage cheese. Other brands often have a salty flavor, so they might taste different. The jars are shipped in a sturdy, reusable box. I’ve loved every product I’ve tried from this company. They use good ingredients and the jars are always fresh and well sealed. The texture of their curds are like pudding or sour cream. Just the right consistency. The products aren’t overly sweet and they all have tasted like homemade so far. They go wonderfully with toast, English muffins or yogurt for a nice, cheerful breakfast or snack.

This curd arrived sooner than expected. I will be using to make a key lime pie as one of the dessert choices at Thanksgiving (receipe on the Stonewall Kitchen website). I attached a picture showing the excellent packaging that kept product from breaking or leaking. Well sealed and you can see the size of the jar in the second picture. Lemon curd is easy to find at any grocery store, but lime not so much. I have made key lime pie making my own curd before but find that the one on Stonewall Kitchen is faster and easier so when I have two other pies (pumpkin and pecan) to make, time and clean up matters. Flavor amazing and will use second jar on bagels and toast and will order again when needed.

At first I was not upset when one jar was visible broken because things can happen. However, one jar broken and three other jars lid being open. That’s a very big issue and disturbing!!

Was OK, but not as good as their Lemon Curd. Too tart for my taste.

Tip tree is always a safe bet and this lime curd is no exception! Redolent of limes and perfect for scones, crumpets, toast, tarts, and ice cream!

This lime curd is simply delicious…no other words to say but fantastic, wonderful, excellent, unbelievable and so on. Try this on toast or English muffins with a hot chocolate, tea or coffee and you will slip into a little bit of heaven as the wild and delicious taste of lime overtakes you. Try this and you as well will be singing its praises. I discovered on my second purchase the value of the 6 pack….so go ahead and try this highly, highly recommended lime curd!!!

This stuff is good and the jar is a good size for the price. My only complaint was that it had almost a chemical aftertaste sometimes, kind of reminiscent of perfume. Or maybe I just have smelled too many bath and body works coconut lime verbena lotions in my life. However, I bought this to use in between layers in a coconut cake. It still turned out very tasty and we ate the heck out of that cake but the lime curd tended to overwhelm the coconut flavor more than I was hoping for. Not the lime curd’s fault. But it was still a fantastic cake and the lime curd was still a good addition. For jarred lime curd this is excellent. I might actually make a fresh from scratch lime curd myself next time I attempt a coconut cake with lime curd in the layers to get the exact notes I am looking for, but this definitely worked and did the job I ordered it for.

Just the best commercial curd ever! The flavour of the lime is dominant and it doesn't have that 'blurry' taste that lemon curd always seems to have. It is wonderful used in Key Lime Pie or Lemon meringue Pie. For a standard size pre-baked flan case use one jar of Lime Curd and top with a 2 egg white meringue and bake I a moderate oven for 15 - 20 minutes or use a 'flamethrower' to brown.

I use this in my carrot cake filling - a tub of mascarpone, a tub of Philadelphia low fat cheese and 3 dessert spoons of this lime curd. Makes a lovely filling.

I have bought this product a few times now and have found it to be one of the brightest, creamiest have to hide it from your kids lime curds i have ever tried. The curd is not the problem it is getting no reaction at all when i infirmed the seller that i only received one jar when i paid for the 2 jar pack i have not even received an email acknowledging my issue and saying they will look into it, just nothing radio silent. Shame as product is wonderful but i wont be buying again if they treat their customers with such a cavalier attitude

Love lime in any form and gorgeous on pancakes. Nice tangy taste. For my family it's too tart so I added a spoonful of icing sugar in a little cup for their childish taste. Anyone who finds it too tart can add icing sugar.
