Great cutting blade
I used it on an Echo SRM-225 string trimmer with very good results! I used it to trim small branches about 1” diameter and misc. weeds/brush and it cut like a champ!!! It fit very well with the AQBB adapter kit! In response to the one comment left that the string trimmer’s plastic guard needed to be trimmed so the wheel would not touch it; I suggest rather than cutting the trimming the guard, it’s very easy to remove the guard with the (3) T-27 bolts. The trimming guard really just gets in the way of the work and would probably get tangled up. As far as the other comment stating “Dangerous” I need to say that that using any power tool can be dangerous! And further more,,, walking on a level sidewalk can be dangerous if you don’t watch how you’re walking! If you simply use common sense while using, with proper safety glasses and safety boots and with a firm grasp of the trimmer,,, you should be ok… Wake-Up and Pay close attention to your work,,, and don’t look at the little birdies flying by!!!

Hot knife through butter.. but .....
Use it for what its intended for and it is a Beast! I'm using this chainsaw blade to cut one to three inch sapling trees assortment of soft and Hardwood and anything in between it works perfectly now if you're trying to go above 3 inch it will do it but it takes time and it also takes a toll on the blade that's why I have a chainsaw if I'm cutting something 4 in or above but for brush clearing walking through it works pefect. I purchased mine in 2021 it is currently November 2025 the only reason I'm writing the review now because I went online to see what size file I needed to sharpen it cuz it finally has gotten dull after repeated use. But for the price of 20 plus dollars I can just purchase a brand new blade. Granted I do have the largest stihl that was made of that time which is a 133 so it spins that blade at the highest RPM I think it could ever take but it cuts through saplings like no other plus it saves on my back with a lopper or a chainsaw with hundreds of small saplings. Get it!

An unbelievable tool in the war on bamboo
We needed this tool to take down several large patches of Bamboo. It has been the easiest way to cut the heavy thick stalks. We have always cut it using shears. It would take hours to do a small area. I wish I had found this tool years ago.

Awesome Product, File is in Packaging!
Just got this blade this morning. A couple of things that I want to mention. First, I thought that we had been shorted the file as a number of others have mentioned. But then I noticed something metallic inside of the hinge of the package. Opened the plastic clamshell package further and there was the file, hidden inside the hinge. So it would be easy to miss if you didn’t look for it. Second, we have an Echo SRW 2501, a combination string trimmer and brush blade tool. As we measured it, the part onto which the blade would mount was 3/4”. But the blade arbor is 1”. So I also purchased an assortment of bushings to fill in the gap. Much to my surprise, the bushing that we needed to mount the blade to our Echo trimmer was right there in the package. Don’t think that it was mentioned anywhere in the description, but there it was. It allowed us to mount the blade solidly onto our trimmer. Will return the bushings that I purchased. As for the blade itself, my hubby has used it for only a short time, (too hot/humid to work out there today) but suffice it to say he was totally impressed. Was using it in overgrown areas with mostly grass, weeds and young buckthorn saplings. This blade cut through all this with ease. So no opinion yet on long term use, but seems very well made and can easily be sharpened when needed. What more could you ask for. One puzzling thing is the front of the package calls it a “9” Saw Chain Grass Blade”. The picture on the front of the package is all grass, like a lawn. On the back of the package, under the heading of “Warning!”, the second bullet point says “Blade is for cutting grass.” Then it says “Ideal for all brush cutting situations”. Why would you buy a blade with chainsaw teeth to just cut grass? The word “brush” implies small shrubs, small saplings, mixed weeds in with grass. It seems to me that the company wants to have both ways in case someone is injured cutting anything more than grass. Anyhow, after using it for only a short time, this blade seems awesome!

It's Good For the Right Application
This blade works well for thick brush and saplings that are coming out of the ground. I don't want to say it's the best thing out there, but there is a specific use case for it that it is very good for. If you are trying to clear a lot of weeds that don't have trees growing in them there are better more efficient blades, but if you need to cut a mix of weeds and wood this is a very good item

this blade cut fast and clean- approx 3 inch diameter- it fit my troybilt straight shaft brush trimmer- no bushing needed to fit on shaft- bought the 7 inch blade and now going to buy the 9 inch for larger trees

If you have a straight shaft trimmer and do a lot of heavy brushcutting this blade is a must. The regular circular blades struggled with anything over 1 cm in diameter, while I've taken down trees up to 7 cm in diameter with this one. -->Make sure you have a straight shaft trimmer -- if you put this on a curved shaft cable drive machine, it will destroy the shaft!
