Ironically, I thought I was buying a rechargeable lantern when I purchased these lanterns by mistake. I was going to return them and purchase the intended lantern, but I decided to keep them as back up and just ordered the lantern I had intended to get. The rechargeable lantern has served its purpose; However, during my recent 126 hour power outage that lantern eventually died, and I could not recharge it. These lanterns use 3 D batteries, and really put out a lot of light. I made sure I had spare batteries set out, expecting the lantern to die as we were using it every evening. We were frugal in our usage, because we were actually being told to expect an additional five days without power, but the lantern never died. I actually kept one in the closet for a backup, just using the rechargeable lantern and one from this set, but I never needed to call the third lantern into duty. (Bare in mind, we were in extreme circumstances with no idea how long it might continue. It is not wise to use all your resources from the onset, leaving nothing in reserve.) Eventually, we all experience a power outage for some reason or another, and these lanterns are absolutely fantastic to have on hand. The value was outstanding, because you actually get two lanterns for the price. They are a very nice, lightweight, compact size, yet they put out really good light. They have a bright setting, a low setting, and even a strobe for emergencies, making these an excellent choice to keep in your emergency supplies. I highly recommend adding some of these lanterns to your emergency supplies! Don’t forget to order a good supply of D batteries. By day one, the stores in my area were out of size D batteries: That’s why you must keep some with your emergency supplies.

Great little affordable lanterns that put out a ton of light. The strobe setting is jarring and we quickly click past it, but the bright white and warm yellow settings are excellent. Each lantern takes three D batteries. Lightweight, great for camping.

I didn't think that I needed these as much as I did until my power went out for a week during Hurricane Milton. They were a life-saver, allowing me to navigate at night to cook, clean up debris, and do my best to function during this difficult time. Hurricane Ian taught me to stock up on batteries and food for situations like this and so the extra pack of D batteries came in handy. They take three D batteries and so be sure to get extra batteries along with these, although you will be impressed with how long a set lasts. I was surprised to find that the lanterns would last for days longer than I expected, with consistent light even as the battery life dwindled. The batteries lasted for almost a full week of almost constant use at night. The lanterns have three settings, which all came in handy. The bright day light allowed me to perform much-needed work at night to keep myself afloat with cooking outside on the grill and bringing in supplies from the shed. The combined setting which was very bright, allowed me to clean up debris and fix damage to the windows and house from the hurricane. The warm light setting was also bright, but very calm and relaxing when we wanted to unwind from a long day of preparation and survival. The case diffuses light and keeps it comfortable on the eyes, while dispersing the light evenly. The lantern also has a strobe function, which can be important in emergency situations. Chances are that you too will experience some sort of power outage and I just cannot express how handy and necessary these lights will be when that time comes. They are lightweight, very portable, and easy to grip and power on due to their compact design. They also have a sturdy base to keep from easily being knocked over. The ability to hang the light was also very convenient. For the price, these lanterns are hard to beat, especially since you get two of them for such a great price! No doubt that they are an important component for your stock of emergency supplies!

When I got it powered on, this thing about blinded me! 🤣 But that just goes to show that it offers a tremendous amount of brightness! And then for each setting, if you simply hold the power button down, it'll get dimmer. I noticed people complaining about the battery installation, but I don't understand how; it's clearly marked which direction the batteries go! I also appreciate the movable handle, and there's even a hook at the bottom, for hanging it. And due to it taking regular batteries, I don't have to worry about trying to recharge anything, if the power goes out and there's no way to recharge it. Most rechargable types need access to electricity, in order to charge them, because they don't take regular batteries. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and this will be great for many camping trips and potential power outages!

I DO RECOMMEND THIS! but, I push once and it’s VERY BIGHT, 2nd push, light is the exactly the same, 3rd push it does change to a nice dimmer light, and last push it does blink. Why someone would have it on blink I don’t know unless they happen to have it in their car if you ever have to pull to the side of the road for some reason at night. I guess they can put it on blink to warn oncoming traffic. I can’t think of other reasons at this time. I myself have the lantern in my house in case elect goes off and in a tent if camping. THE LIGHT IS EXTREMELY BRIGHT, which is great!!! I went into a med to large sized bedroom at night , it was pitch black, turned on lantern and the entire room is EXTREMELY BRIGHT, which again, is a good thing. I only bought 1 just to try it out and I WILL NOW BE BUYING MORE. I have light bulbs that come on automatically in my house if elect goes off BUT, now, would prob just turn on this lantern. Compared to my very old, big, heavy, and needs (8) D batteries this one only takes 3 batteries and is VERY lightweight. When I took it out of box I assumed it would not be very bright as lantern is lightweight, and very small BUT I was wrong. Yes, I recommend These lanterns.

Purchased this pair of camping lanterns for a weather event. They did NOT disappoint! 100% waterproof, illuminates all the way around in 360 degree which is useful for so many tasks or illuminating an entire room. This 360 degree allows handsfree use as well. There are 4 different light modes from cool to white light, and a strobing effect for emergency use. Comes with an integrated hook to hang and also a hanger. Love that is comes with a rubberized bottom so it stays in place. I ordered the bright green color since I purchased as an emergency light. Battery operated (size D) and it lasts a long time. The lantern is a perfect size and easy to carry weight. I'm very impressed. We've had these for over 6 months and they are used often. I think it is an excellent value. (we ordered the 2 pack). I think this would also make a good gift.

These LED lanterns have been perfect for outdoor use and the bad storms we have experienced lately, when our power was lost during the last storm we used these two lanterns to light up our home. They are great! They have 3 settings and a 4 setting that flashes. Great value for the money.

So far I am very impressed with these. They are a nice size and I like the different light settings. The brightest setting is very bright so if your power is out it can really light up a room very nicely. It also has a flashing light setting which could come in handy if you needed help.

Despite a blip in the delivery date the lamps have now arrived and are everything thatI had hoped that they would be. They are exceedingly bright and in fact I have to turn the brightness down which is good because it increases the battery life, They look good and work well. I am extremely pleased with my purchase

Durable, práctica, robusta, ideal para las salidas y uso de exterior, aunque funciona bien para tenerla en casa. Aunque por ser led el consumo de batería no es alto, creo que la mejor opción es la de bateria recargable, pero de cualquier manera esta es aun muy recomendable.
