My husband had run out of his vitamins so I bought him Country Life Max for Vegans and upon taking them he felt an immediate difference. He experienced a greater energy level , no problems with stomach upset and the size of the capsules weren't too big for him.

I love that they're vegan and GF. Not sure I loke them though. They have an extremely gross smell. Think penicillin. They also cause disgusting burps. I'm sure they're great but my body doesn't seem to like them & those two things are what had put me off. Other reviews say they're good so it was worth a try. I just know my body and should have stuck with my original brand.

These look like quality supplements. They did not smell that bad, and the taste was typical of most vitamins I have taken in the past. People complained of hives and headaches which is very possible if you are sensitive to thiamine or niacin. I would suggest maybe not taking the full dose right away if you are unsure and maybe build up to it. Taking them after dinner or before bed would probably help with any of the side effects as well. I didn't have an issue but looking at the dosage I could see it may be a problem for some especially if you eat meat or a lot of dairy. As far as the bottle, I love the fact that it's glass. The trick to opening it is to push down slightly the whole time you unscrew it.

I've been a vegan since 1983, and I have tried several vegan multivitamins on the market, but this one is the best! It's easy to swallow for me, and in case anyone is wondering: The amino acid, Taurine, found in Max for Vegans, can be made synthetically, so from a non-animal source. I LOVE the packaging. AMBER GLASS is the best way to package a vitamin. Very easy to recycle, plus you can see the size of the vitamin!

super expensive, but i feel like i have way more energy after i take this i guess due to the high vitamin b added in here. and plus it has i would say majority of all the essential vitamins that we need everyday.

causes gas and hives... so not good. not sure why, but those many herbal ingredients and citrus polyphenols may be the reason. :) you don't want a stinky stool :) stool should have no smell almost. Definitely not sulfur like with this, sine vegans have no sulfur smell. must be those methionine amino acids?

I personally was not a fan of these, having to take 4 a day was a bit too excessive for me especially since a lot of the vitamins arent very well balanced so whenever I did take 2 or more I'd end up with a headache. If I take one pill I'd be getting enough of some of the vitamins I need like B12 however regardless of how much or little I take these it has a someone unpleasant smell and taste to them (you know that old generic vitamin smell) and whenever I'd burp I'd get that taste in my mouth again. But I'm not rating this any lower because my mother (who isn't vegan) actually found them to work great for her, she believes that it gave a slight boost of energy whenever she took one, so I guess not everyone will have the same effect

The vitamins themselves work great if I could open the bottle. Worst bottle cap on earth!!!! My hand is about to bleed from trying so many times. Completely unnecessary bottle cap. I can go on and on about it. The vitamins really work though
