Davis Miconazole Spray Pets, 4 oz (MSP04)

Got this for my dog's ears. He's a lab and he gets yeast infections a lot because he WON'T STAY OUT OF THE WATER. *smh* Anyway get this. It is amazing. I had been treating his ears with Dr. Golds ear cleaning that's supposed to fight bacteria and yeast and that didn't work. Before that I tried the Zymox enzyme ear cleaner and that didn't work - even as a preventative measure. I put this in his ears last night after taking a Q-tip to them to clean out the gunk. One was worse than the other. The left one (not as bad ear) was completely cleared up by morning and the right one (the REALLY bad ear) was 50% better. I expect that his right ear will be healed in a couple of days.. I'd also like to mention that the spray method was a lot easier to apply than the squeeze/flush method. Especially when your furr baby has irritated ears. Disclaimer: Miconazole does not feel good when you first put it on. If you've ever had a yeast infection yourself you know what I'm talking about. So if your pet starts to cry a bit, its not the fault of the manufacturer, its just the nature of the treatment. The burn starts to go away after a minute. He was a little irritated at first but after rubbing his ears (and belly) he got over it. I gave him another clean out and sprayed his ears again this morning and it didn't phase him at all. That initial application though can be rough. No one said pet parenting was easy ~ Bottom line: Get this product for yeast infections.It clears them up fast and is super easy to apply.

I cannot recommend this product enough. My poor dog had a yeast infection in his paws for years. We tried taking him to the vet, changing his food countless times, the vinegar + peroxide rinses, etc, etc etc and it would just not go away. We'd give him benadryl every once in a while to help him with the itch but it broke my heart every time because I just wanted him to get better. I purchased this product and a medicated shampoo as a last resort. I gave the dog a bath with the shampoo and then applied this spray to his paws and put my son's socks on his paws so he wouldn't lick the product off (plus the spray is greasy so it helped contain the mess). I applied the spray once a day only because he'd get scared whenever I'd bring it out and within the first 2 days the dog stopped licking his paws completely (something he'd do to scratch the itchiness). Within a week the redness and the dark color were gone. I've applied it a few times since just to make sure that it won't come back but he is no longer licking his paws and seems much happier.

It is very light but oily, maybe like a liquid coconut oil? I was not expecting that, I thought it would be more like the consistency of a antibiotic spray such as Neosporin and therefore would be fast dying but no. All in all it seems to have worked, his weird skin issue is gone.

I bought this last August for my dogs paw pads. It works great! Unfortunately I got a bad case of athletes foot from gardening barefoot. Miconazole is in many athletes foot and fungal remedies for men genital area. It is no longer by prescription. It’s OTC .. I soaked my feet morning and nite. Sprayed my toe area where the fungus settled. Not only did it kill the athletes foot fungus in less than 1 week. It helps to remove dead skin around calluses and toenail cuticles. Summer is coming here, I’m ordering a new bottle today. Doubtful? Ask your Doctor. It works.

My little Pomeranian has smelly yeasty smelling paws and I had tried so many things from using vinegar to buying special shampoos and oral non-prescription medications. Nothing worked until I bought this! It’s oily but I notice a difference in just one day. If I skip a few days, it starts to come back but I’m just happy his feet feel better for him and smell better for me.

It seems like horse power strength, and my cat with ringworm radiated heat upon application. It seems very toxic. Like insecticide. Cat had a bad reaction to it and developed secondary staph infection. Be careful.

Been using this for about a month now and has significantly improved my dogs yeasty paws and ears! Highly recommend for anyone’s dog that has been dealing with those seasonal itches and paw licking.

My lab has one ear that is constantly acting up with fungal infections. We've tried every food there is except rx foods. I've found that if I use this ear rinse every few days, it keeps her ear clear without any discharge. If I skip a few days, it'll get gunky. I'll use rx drops when I need to, but prevention is better and cheaper. I've used other products that made the inside of her ear look so raw and inflamed it made me cringe. This is the strongest antifungal available without a prescription.
