I can comfortably carry a gi (not the thin tkd type), Thai shin guards(thick style with foot cover), 16oz gloves, 8oz gloves, wraps, mouthwash, mouth guard, water bottle x 2, tape and I'm not even close to filling it. Unless you really want to take five gis, get the core. It's a great bag.The only thing i wish it had extra was a velcro panel so I could mount a first aid kit to the outside. The breathable fabric is a double-edged feature: plus side it vents the stink out, downside it lets the rain in. Fortunately I don't walk very far with it, but I could see this being a problem for folks who may get caught in a downpour. I haven't personalized with the Velcro patch, but it's a nice feature (Dats even has a partnership with a patch printer).The biggest issue I have with this bag though, is the fact that it hasn't made my game any better. Not one bit. I was expecting it to transform me into a full-on bada$$ cage killer overnight... and nothing. I still have to work, like, really really hard. So there's that bit of false advertising.
