What is intuitive (or might be intuitive) relative to what you think is right for that washer is wrong. Then pay attention how to insert this assembly relative to the triad of spurs that hold it in place, the force to push it fully down (more force than you might think compressing that sponge-washer), and finally the clocking (rotating) to where it holds in place. Those little triangle feet and the compressed sponge-washer hold this puppy in place pretty firmly if you get it right. Obviously for it to end up in the right position after rotation you have to shove it in so that when you clock (rotate) it, it locks pointed in the desired position. She has the k3434 Rosario toilet, can't find pieces in any old store (a reason I'll NEVER buy one of these fancy toilets for my own house). I didn't want to replace this whole assembly, her old flapper valve was all corroded and gross so I figured that's all we needed. I bought this whole thing In case I was wrong, since you can't just buy this anywhere. Well, flapper is all she needed, I popped the old one off, separated the new one and put it on the old fill tube and voila! Toilet works properly again. I'm keeping the new fill tube in case we need it later but hoping not. I also couldn't confirm whether this worked for the Rosario, so if that's your question you can know the flapper valve is definitely the same! I'm sire the rest is a match too.
