They have no support in them, and they do not have a removable insole to allow you to put in an orthodic. **Q: If I am normally a 6.5 in womens shoes, what size should I order? There are sevral options indicating the same size. its confusing.** A: I'm also 6.5. I ordered size 6 because I read reviews they ran big. However, it was too tight. Then ordered size 7, it was too big and my heel kinda slipped out from the back even with socks on and tightly tying the laces. Alas, my Goldilocks self wants to order size 6.5 but it's all out of stock! **Q: Do these shoes have arch support or are they flat?** A: Pretty much flat. Definitely not a supportive shoe. Cute, for the most part comfortable, but no arch support built in. **Q: I am a woman's 5 in Keds, what am I in these?** A: Recommended European Wome's size is 35-36. I am 7 1/2 in Keds and wear 38 in the Superga. I tried 37 and it was too small. Not being sure (according to the reviews) about sizing, I ordered the womens US 8. I'm a true size 8M (not narrow nor wide) and they are a perfect fit. Very cute, not as heavy as some described and super comfortable after wearing right out of the box for most of the day. Mine were made in Vietnam if that makes a difference to anyone. This is a great shoe that can be worn many different ways. As far as the quality goes I'll have to update this review later after putting them through the test of time. I shouldn't have listened to the reviews saying this shoe runs large and to size down. It runs true to length, just on the wide side. I wear an 8/39 in every brand of shoes but since I was unfamiliar with this brand, I second guessed based on the reviews and sized down to a 7.5. It was too short, but otherwise fit well and was surprisingly a little wide (I have a normal width foot). Sending back for the 39.
