## Description

Review: Well made, lightweight, does the job - I needed a way to waterproof my hammock (Warbonnet Blackbird) in its Bishop Bag. This fit the bill perfectly. It is well made, functional, and kept the hammock dry during a bushwhack down a creek with multiple crossings, one swim, and a pounding thunderstorm with hail and epic rain. The bagged hammock fit in the XS size nicely and compressed down to a compact bundle. I like it. I just bought another XS, and in addition one of the XXS for a planned kayak trip I have coming up. I have no issues with straps twisting, loosening, or anything else. This is a piece of lightweight/ultralight gear-- it takes a bit of focus when using and it needs to be handled with a modicum of care. If you want something that takes zero thought to use there are simpler (and heavier) options. This is a good product that does the job.
Review: The XXS is key for a travel neck pillow - Neck pillows seem like a godsend on a long haul flight, but I'm always surprised at how few people use them. At least part of it must be that they're SUPER bulky, and in this day of rollaboard, no checked bags airtravel, every inch counts. Enter the Sea to Summit Ultra Sil compression sack, XXS size. First of all, amazing that you can get a compression sack of this quality in this variety of sizes. Waterproof, durable and easy to use--these things are amazing. Most high quality neck pillows are made of polyurethane foam, like memory foam. Therefore they're ideal for compressing into minimal volume. Cabeau, Travel rest, etc. The simple nylon sacks they come in have no compression capability save for maybe a single Velcro strap. With this stuff sack, you can get at least 4:1 compression.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: I'm looking for one that would be good for packing clothes into. This one is deep but not that big around at the base. Is there a better one??**
A: This works for clothes, but the original works better because it is easier to compress and keep compressed.

The original one is one of the best pieces of camping gear ever designed. This version has straps that are too soft and get twisted too easily, and do not hold firmly enough. They may stay compressed inside your pack, but if you hang the bag on the outside, by the straps, they will loosen as you walk.

Also beware that a medium ultrasil event compression is smaller than a medium original.

**Q: How many liters is the xsmall?**
A: 3.3L

**Q: I have a kelty tuck 22 that compresses pretty well, but i have no idea what size sack to get for it. Any ideas?**
A: take the bag to an outdoor store like REI and stuff it into a bag to figure out what size you need

**Q: I have a Kelly cosmic down 20degree. What size 10 or 14?**
A: Not exactly sure. But I just got the biggest one I could. I have four of them and really like them. The weight between sizes is very little. They compress very well and it's all ways nice to have a little extra room if needef. So if it was me I'd just go with the 20. I've done as little as 4pr socks and underwear with a jacket and it compressed fine. The biggest load was a -20 bag but was a very tight fit. However I would not use this item on the outside side of my pack for it is very thin. Hope this helps

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The XXS is key for a travel neck pillow
*by M***0 on January 15, 2023*

Neck pillows seem like a godsend on a long haul flight, but I'm always surprised at how few people use them. At least part of it must be that they're SUPER bulky, and in this day of rollaboard, no checked bags airtravel, every inch counts. Enter the Sea to Summit Ultra Sil compression sack, XXS size. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Key update to the top compression dry bag
*by C***N on February 25, 2015*

Great update to an already awesome bag. This bag is extremely waterproof. The compression + venting make it ideal for packing tight. You can really pull down on the straps to get the contents small. It works well for clothes, sleeping bags, food, tents, and other items that need to be protected / organized. This Ultra-Sil bag is slightly less durable than the original eVent compression - but I like this version better. The Small is 10 Liters (pictures below) - good for an extremely small sleeping bag/quilt, a puffy jacket, or a change of clothes.
