In situations where squashing them isn’t convenient or possible, I spray this at them and they spaz out and die within a few minutes. That said, it smells really bad and definitely isn’t something you want to be inhaling regularly. The “clean fresh scent” is a photorealistic gas station bathroom odor: cleaning fluid, garbage & synthetic flowers. It’s important to know that this product is not a repellant, it’s only a poison to the flies. I also remain skeptical that it continues killing any new infiltrators after it’s been sprayed, even though the scent lingers days. I’ve so far only seen it the flies dead when I spray it right at them.
