The Golden Tarot

A very nice deck with pleasing pictures and coloring to it. The book that comes with it is detailed and pretty easy to follow. It seems like this would be a good choice for a starter deck.

Liz Dean is one of the best when it comes to Tarot. Her decks all have great art work and messages about the meaning of each Tarot Card. Anyone wanting to learn Tarot is safe and sound with Liz Dean.

I'm a newbie at tarot and this deck was perfect! The cards are beautiful and pretty sturdy. Love the guide book that comes with it too. Such a good deal!!!

The images on the cards are great, keep in mind the minor arcana are just pips- no pictures just the number and the suit (swords, wands, cups, pentacles) on the card. I knew this going in and just wanted to hone skills in reading cards like this. For 14$ The deck and book is a great buy for the more beginner tarot reader. The only thing I need to caution on is the edges of the cards. They were finished and are rough- when riffle shuffling you need to be careful not to cut yourself. The cards width wise are a tad bigger than your average tarot card deck as well and depends on the size of your hands can be a bit cumbersome.

It was a little beat up but i love it. I made sure that i recieved every card and i did. I did get it used so I shouldnt complain. It’s perfect for any beginner, it was my first deck and I still prefer it over any other deck. Its very simple and easy to use and understand.

I love the illustrated cards in this deck, they have delightful storybook vibe to them. The 22 Major Arcana and 16 court cards are amazing. However the pip cards are disappointing. I am experienced tarot reader. Can read Tarot De Marseille, which also does not have illustrated pip cards. However there are subtle differences in each card that give clues. I'm disappointed to realize the pip cards in this deck, contain the same background through a suit, ex. in the Swords suit, the pip cards have same background showing increasing number of swords. no difference in design to clue you about subtle differences between the cards. This deck is not suitable for beginners. It is more suited towards people who only use the major arcana. or who have memorized the imagery, rote card meanings and can recall the imagery of that card, just by seeing the number in the suit. I love the imagery of this deck so much, I am tempted to add my own images, etc. to make the pip cards useful. Not for beginners unless you want use only half of the tarot deck.

素朴なデザインでホッとする感じで、気軽に使えるカードです。 ネガティブな印象がまったくありません。 女性のヌードが出てくるのは、「THE STAR」のみで、これも安心感につながります。 色彩に統一感があり、良く調和されていて、美しい。 カードが薄いですが、しっかりナイロンコーティングしてあるので、実用範囲だと思います。 一般のタロットより大きいカードですが、このデザインにこのカードの大きさは、不思議とマッチしています。 無駄に箱が大きいのは、中にちゃんとしたカラーのマニュアル冊子(英語)が入っているから。 無くなって欲しくないカードです。

Cards are glossy but not too much, they’re thin but able to riffle shuffle nicely. They have an old time feel with the earth tone colours and gentle imagery. It’s also a pip deck. The guide book has the cards printed in colour with the explanations.
