I used the half-half version of the recipe where you use half plain bread flour and it’s my new go to loaf when I’ve run and out and need to cook up a quick loaf. It’s so hard to find organic brown bread where i live that isn’t dry as a bone or extortionate. If you have this problem I recommend this flour and Delia’s old recipe. It makes a little loaf but it’s just enough for two big people and two little people for a day or so. That's the only thing on the bag that looks like a date but it's not noted as an expiration or use by date. It's just printed there along with some other numbers. I'm not sure why flour would expire as long as it's wrapped and sealed.
