Grip 1345 0.5mm Mechanical Pencil - Green

This is a very good mechanical pencil, and I genuinely enjoy writing with it. Faber-Castell is a German brand, but this particular model is made in Japan, and it feels very comfortable in the hand. The color is slightly darker than it appears in the photos, but overall, it’s definitely worth trying.

I love my mechanical pencils. This is the first time I purchased and used a Faber mechanical. I like the weight, feel, and looks. More in my future!

This is a great pencil. It's reliable, well balanced, and comfortable to write with. As you write with it, the conical lead guard will retract as the lead wears down, so you don't have to click as much. Really long eraser is also nice, but it's kind of expensive to get replacements ($6 for a pack of 3)

This retractable point pencil is very close to the Staedtler 9705 Elite, with a couple key improvements: The threads connecting the grip section to the barrel begin further inside the barrel, rendering them less vulnerable to breakage. This is how I lost many of my Staedtlers. This pencil has the twist-extending eraser from the Faber-Castell TK Fine Vario and the Koh-I-Noor Mephisto. Very slick. One downside, as with the Staedtler, is the plastic sheathed mechanism. The three-piece clutch/chuck is brass, but little else is. Combine the play from the flexible mechanism casing not being threaded onto the cone, but merely cinched between the cone inner and grip section, with a sliding/vanishing tip, and you end up getting broken lead stuck in that floating tip/sleeve, with no included poker to clear it.

My favorite pencil.....comfortable grip and size for those of us who write smaller than most folks. I have these all over my house and will probably order for years

Product matches 90% with the pictures, only problem is its grip surface that has threads. The one in the picture does not. And that was the one i wanted. Coz i owned quite a lot Faber Castell mechanical pencils and i know what to expect. they have 3 different items in the pictures so you actually don’t know what you are getting. But product work’s properly.

I bought it together with Pentel twist eraser click n it arrived a day after the pentel mechanical pencil arrived (despite the faber castell is for prime while the pentel does not even need prime membership). Anyway, I bought this because it has the closest design with the pencil I lost (forgot the brand because it was long time ago n I bought it in another country). Though I was looking for a bigger pencil, I actually like. Would have been better if its diameter is as big as the pentel mechanical pencil. Merece la pena tener un portaminas asi, si eres estudiante, antes solia escribir a lapiz, pero con el tiempo el lapiz hay que sacarle punta y es un incordio. En general es un muy buen producto, lo que mas me gusta es que la goma para sacarla hay que girar la parte superior, y la goma es bstante larga asi que puedes borrar con frecuencia.
