I have an older Galaxy S8 Active, it's fairly heavy by todays standards, and this mount holds it VERY well. Even with the bass from the subs vibrating the dash like crazy, I no longer have to dig around to find my phone on the floor after the bass knocked it out of the cubby I use to put it in below the radio. Hopefully the adhesive holds for a long time in the Florida heat.

Why spend more money for other more famous brands? This thing works! The sticky backing stays stuck, and if you absolutely have to unstick it, you can do that without ruining whatever you stuck it to. The magnetic hold is SOLID. It's not too thick. It has a nice appearance, blends into the console surface I put mine on, almost looks stock.

I have a radar detector with the usual windshield suction mount and for a long time I was on the look-out for a mount that didn't stick on the windshield. I try to have the least obstructions in my windshield. This Scosche magnet is a great solution, it sticks solidly to the dash and the magnet is very strong, the detector holds solidly too. I found out that this brand has a lot of practical accessories for mobile phones and tablets, also some other cool stuff for electronics indoors and outdoors; I'll be checking their products frequently.

One of the best phone mounts you could buy at a cheap price. Currently have it installed in my '08 Impreza next to the radio and it offers a clean look. The magnet makes a strong bond to the phone, and the rubber makes sure it doesn't fall while driving on rough terrain. *NOTE*: I own a Samsung Galaxy S6 and use the wireless charging dock. With the metal piece behind the phone, it will not charge. Just to give future buyers a heads up!

Works best if you secure the plate on the back of your phone or outside of the case. I tried putting mine on the inside back of the case and it does hold it but bumps and vibration it will fall off.

Used in my 2016 Honda Pilot. I didn't want to attach a phone holder to the air vent, and there was no visible flat surface to use my other magetic ball phone mount. I purchased a mount from ProClips, and attached the Magic Mount to the ProClips mount. Works great, my Samsung Galaxy Note 8 phone holds great, mount hasn't become detached after 1 month of use. Magetic mounts are great for easily and quickly attaching and removing phone.

Love how well they work. But the part that goes on the case doesn't stick very well; my husband has to use super glue in order for it to stay on all the time.
