Ok, I will try to make this brief. They come between 9 and 12 tablets, why, I do not know. I was thinking that was odd it only said 5 pounds on the box, but never the amount of tablets. I guess because they base in weight not quantity. Yes, the tablets some times come broken, but I use them in floaters in my pool and in the main line, so 3 tablets per week, even if they are broken, they come in individual wraps or without the wrap, I simply put them in the pump line and in the 2 floaters and they last me a week. The product do work very good, but I do agree, it doesn't come on the best presentation. People throw them into the pool, that's a mistake, they are meant to be in a floater or to be put in some kind of line or system, if you just throw them in the pool, they will take forever to dissolve and won't work very well because they are not meant to be use like that. Hope this help other to make a good decision.

Good product. It works well in our small pool with the floating dispenser on lowest setting and last quite a while

Perfect for a pool

I did the same thing as many others, should have known it was too good to be true. The bullet says: INCLUDES: One 25-lb container of Super Chlorinating Tablets for swimming pools. NO, you get one (1) tablet. I read through the reviews and see this has been pointed out several times and still they have not corrected this. I initially saw photos of buckets with broken tablets, no big deal, happens when you buy them from the store, but did not see that this was going to be just one tablet. Went back to see if I misread, no, it says INCLUDES 25-lb container. Even the title says: HTH 42032 Super 3-inch Chlorinating Tablets Swimming Pool Sanitizer, 6 oz. (Tablets) plural. Definition: (of a word or form) denoting more than one, or (in languages with dual number) more than two. They can call it what they want, a play on words, but it's wrong. This needs to be re-worded or taken down. I purchased the Super Shock treatment 1 lb (pack of 6) and it even says in the Bullet, included: Six 1-lb bags of shock treatment for your swimming pool and I got what the description says. I like the product in itself, but feel cheated. Have used this product for years, but feel cheated in this purchase. Too good to be true. Glad I only ordered one and not 3 or 4.
