Used these pads on several vehicles to remove light scuffs and scratches. Results in my opinion are very good and don't have to spend a fortune on the preferred brand with the sponge backing, they work great too but as a small business owner and the low frequency of use these sanding pads are my best alternative. I used dry and wet and got great results. Be careful because there do cut faster and could quickly sand to bare primer, especially on older thin paint or clearcoat. I used these only on automotive finishes and can't comment on any other possible uses.

I was looking for an alternative to the 3000 Trizact for 3M for my headlight restoration process and gave these a try. These worked almost as well as the 3M disc on my pneumatic 3" polisher in terms of the durability and finish but at a much better price. I will definitely be using these again. Going to be ordering the 1500 grit version in my next order.

I got these because I've purchased a headlight restoration kit before and while I got good results, it only included enough sanding discs to do one pair of headlights. However, the pad holder and polishing pad I got with the kit can be used multiple times, so I didn't want to just keep buying kits every time I need to resurface headlights. This was the solution. I bought standalone pads in the same sizes that come in the kit--now I have enough on hand to do multiple cars multiple times as needed. These pads work just like the ones that originally came with my kit. I meant to give a 4 for durability though--after I used these on two headlights, the pad surface seemed slightly more worn than the original sponge pad that came with my kit.

Decent quality for the price

The sizes are perfect and the grit rating is high enough to polish metals, plastics and even some woods. It's hard to find grit ratings above 1000 and this certainly is. I've used it on metals and plastics and it is really good stuff.

Had an old drill-driven 3M headlight restoration kit, but ran out of this grit. Picked these up to cut down the fine scratches before polishing. Worked as expected

My pads are stufk together and I ripped one tying to take them apart. Plus this is happen to anyone else. I ordered these to work with my headlight restoration but this is not helpful right before I got a job to do

Couldn't use the product as they have GLUED the sandpaper together!
