OOahh Sport Flex Recovery Sandal

I don’t usually write long reviews, but I’m making an exception because these OOFOS OOahh Sport Flex recovery sandals are genuinely one of the best footwear purchases I’ve made in years. First impression: the cushioning is different from a normal “soft” slide. A lot of soft slides feel squishy for 10 minutes and then your feet start working to stabilize, and you end up tired anyway. These feel like they’re actually absorbing impact and supporting you at the same time. The footbed has a real shape to it, so your feet don’t just pancake out or slide around. The arch support is the standout for me. It’s supportive without feeling like a hard orthotic. I can wear these around the house for hours, doing chores, cooking, walking around, and my feet still feel good at the end of the day. I originally wanted them as a “recovery” sandal, but they quickly became my default indoor/outdoor slide because they’re comfortable and stable. The Sport Flex strap is a big reason I chose this version. I like being able to adjust the top because feet can swell a bit throughout the day, and I don’t love straps that are either too tight or too loose. With these, I can set it once and it stays comfortable. Also, the fit feels secure enough that I’m not gripping with my toes to keep them on (which I didn’t even realize I was doing with other slides until I tried these). They’re also surprisingly versatile: around the house (my #1 use) quick errands after workouts / long days on my feet travel / hotel shoes pool/beach days (easy to rinse off) Sizing note: I found the fit true-to-size, but if you’re between sizes or prefer more room, consider sizing up. (That’s especially true if you have wider feet or want extra space with socks.) Durability/quality: The material feels sturdy and doesn’t feel like it’s going to compress into a flat sponge after a month. The sole has good traction for a slide, and the construction feels solid. They also clean easily—wipe with a damp cloth or rinse and they’re good. If you’re on the fence because of price: I get it. But after wearing these, I honestly think they’re worth it because they’re the rare “comfort item” that actually performs the way people claim. I love these and will absolutely buy another pair.

Expensive but excellent quality. I have a narrow foot with low instep and pronated ankles. I recently purchased some cotton toe socks to help keep my aging toes aligned. My narrow-fitting Nike slides were tight with the socks and I didn't want to ruin them by stretching them out. Grok is my go-to for shopping advice and he pointed me to OOFOS. While looking at this listing, I found this adjustable version included as one of the options. I'm between a 7 dress shoe and an 8+ athletic shoe. After reading the reviews, I quickly took a chance on a 7 and ordered it since the style seemed to be discontinued. The size 7 lemgth fits perfectly. Not short at all. I've pulled the Velcro tab over significantly, maybe 3/4" and the Velcro holds tight. The sole is SOOOO cushy and SUPPORTS my feet/arches wonderfully. I didn't know what a "rocker" sole was and was hesitant about ordering it. In case you don't know, the sole beneath your arch is higher than heel and toes. It makes you naturally rock from toe to heel. I am cautious about walking in the house because of it so that I don't fall. My Nikes have this to a lesser degree. That's the only thing that I would modify if I could...make the rocking effect less pronounced. Even so, I find these slides incredibly comfortable for my aging feet. So happy I found them.

These sandals are amazingly comfortable -- great arch support and cushioning that isn't too soft, nor too firm. I wear a shoe size men's 13 D (occassionally an E width depending on the maker), which is what I ordered and the fit is spot on. I also ordered a pair of the toe thong OOriginal Recovery Sandal. These have the same foot bed and feel just as great on my feet -- but only when sized properly, which isn't easy. I also initially ordered a men's size 13, but it wasn't easy getting my feet into the toe thong as it was so tight. I wore them around the house for a couple of days thinking they would break in, but nope, they remained too uncomfortable. So I ordered the same sandal, but went up a size to men's 14. That did the trick, fits perfectly and feels great! So, I would recommend ordering your normal shoe size for Oofos sandals that aren't toe thong style. For the toe thong sandals, you may need to go up another size because the straps are really tight if you have wider or thicker feet.

I purchased these for post recovery after a bunion and TMT fusion surgery. They are wonderful and true to size. These are great specifically to me post recovery is because I can adjust the strap to accommodate the swelling on the top of my foot. I always buy the Oofos Oolala sandals every summer since they're so amazing and these are right up there too! Super comfortable. Amazing value for your money. You can try on other kinds all you want but these are it! The arch support is great, I have high arches. They are not slippery, they're very stable. They are also super easy to clean. I recommend. I'm a lifer!

These Slides by OOFOS help me walk more. They feel like they were made just for me. My lower back and knees were hurting and a friend encouraged me to try them. They are adjustable, feel secure and do not slip off at all.

Really solid sandal overall. It’s comfortable to wear for long periods and feels durable, with good support for everyday use. There are no issues with fit or performance. Chefs kiss. 🤌🏼 The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is the branding. The logo is pretty heavily plastered across all sides of the sandal and stands out more than I’d like. It doesn’t affect how it wears, but visually it’s a bit much for my taste. Other than that, it’s a great sandal and does its job well.

These sandals are great, and I highly recommend them. They're just as comfortable as the regular recovery slides made by Oofos, but with the advantage of an adjustable top strap. I found that the strap was not an absolutely crucial feature for me, but I can see how it can be important for some people, like those have significant swelling due to injury or recent surgery, or for those who just like to wear really, really thick socks. I prefer to wear my Oofos barefoot or with socks of average thickness, so for me, the regular recovery slides are just fine.

This is my second pair. I have flat feet, bunions, and pain. These are sooooooo comfortable. I put them on after a long day on my feet. Such a relief. I wear either an 8.5W or 9. I bought the nine. The adjustable strap allows for a secure perfect fit. I know these are expensive. They are worth every penny for the relief they provide.
