I have used bands for the last 6 years and using a lot the black type. This black is half millimiter thicker and shorter than all the blacks I have bought in the last 6 years - it feels wrong both under tension and reach...the transition from the thinner types (red) is not at all smooth - in fact, it almost feels like the grey bands ( next step up from black).Mind you, if you just want to use this black with the exercises booklet they provide it might just be ok. In my case I use all different strengths and this black does not "fit" in the family.
