They told me a heating pad would help -- and it did. Why didn't anyone recommend a neck brace? It makes a huge difference. And this one seems well made. Firm, and not very thick. Just be sure to measure well because it doesn't have a lot of adjustment. What a relief. Cheap. Worth many times the price.

I suffer from pinched nerves at C3/C4 and a degenerative disc at C5. My doctor suggested I sleep with a collar in order to completely relax my neck since your neck never relaxes and it works. I have used these collars for the last couple of years and can always count on them to be high quality and a good price. I generally order two at a time even though they last a long time but cannot sleep without one so don't take any chances. In the last two orders, I had a small and a large even though both boxes said small - I ordered two small. In the last order I ordered two, both small and even though the box said small - one of them was smaller than my small, so much so it would barely fit around a dog's neck for a collar. They aren't cheap and I would have returned them but by the time I open to use them, too much time has passed by and the paperwork/receipt is no longer there. Now I'm thinking of purchasing them at a CVS or someplace to make sure the size is correct, but prefer to buy online just for the convenience and availability. Has anyone else had this issue? I've been using them for years and the quality is great!

Buy 1 size larger than you need. I wear 17 1/2 men’s shirt. My neck measurement is actually 18 and some small change. This collar (L) just barely fits. I used the manufacturer’s sizing guide. Not too thick but still rigid. Material is soft but hot. No way to remove cover to launder as it’s sewn on. Velcro holds well and doesn’t scratch. I got a cotton tube sock and cut out the toe so I could slip it over the collar for a cover I could wash and is cooler. I can just barely turn my head a couple of degrees L&R, no up & down possible. Too bulky for me to sleep in unless I doze in the recliner. Well sewn.

I’ve had some bad experiences ordering this type of collar from Amazon for an upcoming surgery. I’m returning two others that arrived clear,y used and dirty. I tried this one as it had overnight shipping. My neck circumference measures at 14” and the small is listed for necks 13.5- 15”. This is definitely not as long as it should be. I can barely close it with the ends touching. The shape of this one is good and I like that I can get it in the 2.5” height. It definitely on the softer side which I like. Do yourself a favor and order a size up on the length. The size chart is in correct. I’m gonna keep this one because I’m on a time crunch and having to return 3 different versions of these is ridiculous.

poorly made. velcro pcs are very stiff and poorly attached. the part that hooks over only is like 1 inch. to go on about 5 ins, very hard to manuver with 1 arm. would return if i could but.... at least i am able to verify 2 1/2 in is good would not recomend or buy again

Excellent fit very good ,very convenient and comfortable for the neck pain.

I broke my neck and used this collar for sleeping. It's not exactly soft, but it's not to bad. It allowed me to sleep comfortably and supported my neck well.

This collar gave my neck the support needed. I cracked my neck in my sleep and couldn't get relief. Then someone mentioned the collar and within 3 days the pain was gone.

This collar is perfect. It’s narrow under the chin and neck and is soft and very light and does give excellent support.
